What Is Love?

What is love? 

A great question with no absolute answer.

For a child, it's the mother's care and affection. 

For a teen, it's an unknown warm feeling on people.

 For an adult, it's something beyond reality and selfishness.

For a parent, it's their child's smile.

For an old man, it's a few memories of the past.

 For a saint, it's peace in silence. 

For an artist, it's recognition. 

They somewhat define love. But actually the most critical and hard to define is the one happening between two people. For some, it may start as a spark. For a few others, it could be a warm friendship. But to be honest every relationship is bound to a question: until when? Only fate answers the question. By fate, I don't mean some belief in supernatural powers. But fate represents something uncertain. we have seen relationships that started like tit for tat and ended up in forever. Also, relationships that lasted for many years ended up astonishingly without caution. It's always a mystery unpredicted. But in every relationship, one can indulge in self-discovery. Yes, self-discovery is the main purpose of making relationships. But most of us believe that we seek other people for love, care, and attraction, a feeling of safety and security, etc., Yes we seek these from people we love. At the same time, we reflect on them. Those reflections if you observe clearly, could reveal more about you. This one essential process of self-reflection is often hidden from our conscience since we tend to overflow with feelings and emotions that shield us from seeing ourselves. Yet a relationship without feelings and emotions is meaningless. The art of controlling emotions and feelings between two people is a skill to be mastered over years. But to master, this one needs a perfect partner. By perfect I don't mean a tall perfect body with fair skin and a job with a six-digit figure. Every human has their own definition of a perfect partner. That is totally personal. That personal selection should be wise at the same time heartful. All the best.
