THE WAYS OF DEATH
The other day I had gone for a Bhog ceremony of one of my friends brother… once we reached we were discussing the way he died … he must have been around 63 years .. good in health. He had gone out for some work in the morning and came back around 11am , his son opened the door and he told him, “ Two sardartji’s will be coming to take me somewhere please ensure they are made comfortable, given tea etc. The son said okay, after some time the father came out from his bedroom and told the son, open the door they have come, didn’t you hear the doorbell. The son said , no I did not and the father said I can hear the door bell ringing , go open the door.
The son opened the door and found no one there but the father insisted that he could see the two sardarji’s and he invited them in…the father asked the son to go in kitchen and make tea and he sat down on the sofa.
The son got up and approached the father and asked, “are you okay”.. there was no reply ... the father had passed away peacefully.
Very few people are lucky enough to get just a peaceful and blissful death… and some even get the vision of Yamraj coming to take them or see the face of the divine Lord who carries them away peacefully in their arms.
While some may suffer for months, years and days and die a painful death either at the hospital or home … there are those who die or pass away peacefully in their sleep …
Such are the ways of death… it comes for some silently … while others lie waiting for it to end their torture and pain …some are lying ready to die ..while some are enjoying life and in seconds their breath of life is taken away…
