How much a person can strive for their dream and what happens if they remain unfulfilled. Here's a story about dream and a person, a synonym for each other , lets dive into it

Manoj's mom got angry on him as he again went for sleep despite getting late for coaching as it was routine for him to dream about the LBSNAA the place where every civil servant is trained as Manoj was preparing for the UPSC exams.

That year he was not able to clear the prelims also but he consoled himself by saying that it was just his first try; but next year again he failed. Now he started feeling the pressure as all his friends had started earning and they were having jobs while his future was uncertain. And above all his neighbours and relatives were always used to ask how many times he will try but he still kept hopes high. In the third try he cleared both prelims and mains now he felt some sigh of relief but interview was still left.

Unfortunately just a week before his interview his father had cardiac arrest and he passed away but he gave the interview and he missed the cut off again. Now he got depressed as all responsibilities were on his head now and he became frustrated and started searching for jobs Though he didn't get the one which he wanted but he thought something is better than nothing.

After the routine 9 to 6 job he used to get tired and found very difficult to study Slowly his priorities started shifting and now his goal was to earn more money for his family so he started doing night shifts also, this continued for months and again the forms for UPSC exams were out he filled the form but he hardly used to get time to study. He gave the prelim and cleared it but then again he was left with two options either to leave the job or to forget about UPSC but it was hard for him to leave the job as he was not sure about mains so he tried to do both but was not able to concentrate enough on it and he failed to reach cutoff marks.

Now his hopes and dreams all went away and he decided not to go ahead with this but his family was extremely worried about him as they knew it was his dream to become IAS officer but now how can anyone change the destiny. After two months he got married to his classmate to whom he had promised to marry immediately after clearing UPSC but as now latter was not possible for him so he decided to get married to her.

Again the life went back to routine and now he had totally different life and ambitions to achieve but deep down it was still hard for him to digest the situation , however his wife forced him to apply for state PSC and with his efforts he was able clear it along with his ongoing job Now he had secure government job and all things return to normal.

One day his wife asked him "I know you are still interested in Civil services then why you are not giving it one more chance" Manoj remained quite as same question was harassing him daily even after securing job he was not happy as his dream was still not letting him enjoy the moment , that memories used to still haunt him but on another side he also wanted to chase it.

Again the application process for UPSC exams started , his wife insisted him to fill it up but he said that he won't get enough time to study and again it will traumatize him but at last his wife convinced him and he began the preparation as not just his wife but his mother and all relatives used to keep him boosted up , Once again that passion and urge to achieve success at any cost kept him motivated.

After clearing prelims he started studying really hard as it was do or die situation for him He used to carry notes all time with him as whenever and wherever he gets time he kept on revising it even during lunchtime he used to study as he knew every second was precious Then the mains exam went well and he was pretty much confident about clearing it Finally he got selected for Interview but this time he didn't relaxed and kept on revising as he knew he was one step away from fulfilling his dream for which he was living.

Every single second he just had one thing in mind "to study" now once again that dreams of him entering the academy where all IAS OFFICERS are trained started reappearing and finally the day of interview arrived and with god's grace all things went well Now he was eagerly waiting for the results and when results were out his all hard work was paid off as he secured AIR 13 and finally he was living his dream not only that but he became star especially for thousands of aspirants like him but the biggest moment of his life came when he finally stepped into Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration with tears in his eyes. 

One day I will be there and finally I will make my dreams into reality these words written on his book still used to haunt him as he can't find peace anywhere even after securing a government job because all he wanted was to become IAS officer. But now it was like all hopes were shattered and the fire was still there and his wife can clearly understand this. So she used to motivate him but she knew it was really tough to get away from all these 

Again the application for CSE started and she told him that you should give it a try but his mind was still not prepared to accept the situation as he went back remembering all failures he had gone through but his wife convinced him and he began the preparation as if it was do or die situation for him he cleared the prelims but the real test was about how to manage job and preparation for mains as it was much hectic but that little ray of hope which he felt after clearing prelims kept him motivated and to take the challenges which he was facing

 

Now he had only one goal and everything else hardly mattered him he used to carry notes with him everywhere and as soon he gets free time he used to revise it even during breaks he used to study after that he never looked back and continue with his preparation and the main examination started , now he was confident enough to clear it and he got selected for interview , it also went accordingly and now he was eagerly waiting for results 

After securing top rank when he entered the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration. It was just like dreams which long back he saw and he gradually moved in with tears in his eye and sight of relief in heart
