𝓨𝓸𝓾 𝓐𝓻𝓮 𝓜𝔂 𝓥𝓪𝓵𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓮

Jamie was the princess of the family. She was blessed with two elder brothers. They took care of her as a flower. Her smile made them happy. 

Her first birthday celebration was fabulous. 

People said

* The girl is lucky.

Whatever she wishes, will be received. Because of her family background.

* Yes. You are right.

Jamie's parents weren't rich. But they were kind hearted. The villagers were jealous over them. Both of her parents were hard workers. They never spent money unnecessarily.

Jamie was sent to school at age 4. Jamie finds difficult to study. Her brothers made her learn it easy. Jamie ate lunch with her brothers. They share their foods. Once the clock strikes 3.30, three hands twined together towards the home. There will be none to welcome them. The little brother opens the door. Younger one carried Jamie in the shoulder. They share their snack with Jamie. Jamie may cry if she doesn't see her parents, so they play with her. They taught her to learn English alphabet and tamil letters.

 During class 5, Jamie met Shane, her senior. Trey became closer. On Sunday Jamie saw him in church choir. Jamie was not good at singing but joined the choir just to admire him. Shane was a pianist. He played the piano, she sang. She found her lyrics matching his music.

She was happy. They studied in the same school up to twelfth standards. They were friends. He called him sister. She addressed him as a brother. 

Jamie's brothers were 8 and 5 years older than her. She missed them. They stayed at a college hostel. Shane's brotherly love comforted her. Shane left the school. She missed him. Shane changed his residence. 

They stored their memories.

Four years they haven't met once.

Jamie selected the college miles away from her house. She loved travelling. She admired nature and met many types of people in her life. On the first day of her post graduate study she met him again. It shocked her. She was frozen. He was excited to see her. She ignored him. He smiled at her. She laughed in happiness. Jamie avoided him. She was afraid

of the college rules and regulation. At the end of the week internal exams were conducted, Shane purposely came to Jamie's class. Shane kept looking on. her. Shane didn't write the exam. His classmates came to know of his love. 

Literary Competition was announced. Shane compelled her to participate in Literary Song. Again they sang together. She began to love music just because of him. Again they become closer. She addressed him as "Senior" He tried to correct it. But she didn't accept it. 

*You are older than me. My parents taught me to respect them. 

One fine day Shane held her hands and proposed her. She rejected it. She told

* You are my brother. I will never love anyone other than my family. She ran away from her.

To her luck, none. saw them. she breathed again. She saw him following her. She ran as much as she can. Finally she got in her bus.

She couldn't sleep. She recalled their past. His Shane memories filled her. Shane kept running for her. Shane begged her to accept him. 

* If you never accept me, let me die

* Die? 

*Yeah! How can I live without you. I have spent many years with you as a friend. You've been. so friendly to me. My parents don't have time to talk with me. They abuse me. They torture me. I felt the happiness whenever You call me. It's you who taught me the meaning of life. I wanna be with you till my end. You're my world, You're my valentine. 

* I can't love you. Please stay away from me. 

Shane held her closer to him. Her heart beats faster. His face closer to her. Tears came out. She cried. 

*Don't cry please. I don't want to see tears in your eyes. 

He rubbed the tears from her eyes. She lost her control. She hugged him. She came back to reality. She shouted and ran. 

She couldn't forget it.

She entered the house.

Her mother advised to be cautious in her travel. She told to her daughter

* Never let others hands to touch you. Only your husband have rights to touch you.

Jamie was astonished. She couldn't sleep at night. Her mother's words echoed in her eyes.

 

* Who is he to rub my tears? My family alone have rubbed my tears. Is he my family? Why he is so emotional today? Why I hugged him?

What will he think about me? 

She slept. Continuously Shane proposed her. She accepted his love. She did not inform her parents. Shane completed his Master of Philosophy in the same college, because he wants to see her. Jamie too completed her college studies. Her parents want her to get married. Because of her brothers. Jamie informed Shane about this. Next day Shane reached her house. He talked with her father.

*I want to be with your daughter. I will marry soon once my sister gets married. I promise you I will marry Jamie. Please accept this uncle. 

Father shouted, "Jamie, Jamie"

* Yes, Dad. 

*Are both loving each other?

* Yes, Dad. 

Okay I will inquire about him. 

After two days her father told her, "He is a good boy. You can study M. Phil degree. So you can wait for him."

*Thank you father.

One year gone 

One more Sister left so Jamie thought it would take time for their marriage. Jamie's brother got married ,Jamie worked as Assistant Prof in the College All of sudden everything changed the receive message from Shane. She contacted him, still no response. His house door was locked.

Did he die?

Jamie was in darkness.

She was depressed.

 She lost her passion. Her parents were worried. She rejected to marry another men. 

She said *Shane is my Valentine.

One of the her friend as jealous at Jamie.

She exposed Jamie as the villian. She created the story of her own and made the villagers abuse her family. Even though the mistake was not on her side. She was abused. Her family name was destroyed. 

When she was returning from her college they launched words against her. 

*She destroyed his life? Can't she die? 

* She acted innocently and destroyed the boy's life.

 Smiling hysterically one said, 

*Beautiful girls always cheat the innocent boys and marry another. 

These words echoed in her ears. 

She wanna die. She begged God to take away her life. Her parents were worried about her. She rejected to marry another men. 

She could see him in her dream.

They walked together and shared their pain.

Music connected them. All of a sudden everything changed. Now, music comforted her. Music made her feel the foot steps once comforted her. 

Her past left the incurable scar in her heart. Past memories haunted her, when music is switched on. The filthier words of those educated rewinders killed her. Her past hapiness died. She tried to bury her past. But they mock and rewind her past. It scattered her. Yet she wants to twinkle brighter than the rewinders. 

 One fine evening she was chatting with her friend in WhatsApp. Eventhough there's no contact between her and Shane, she have not deleted his contact number from her mobile.  She saw him using WhatsApp. She decided to talk with him. It was his birthday. She wished him. He thanked her. She was shocked. 

She texted,

 * Where are you?

No reply.

* I am gonna get married.  Please do come.

Still no reply. But blue tick in the chat made her to understand that he was seen the message.

She download Canva app and created the wedding invitation with her name and used another name as the bridegroom. She saved the image and send it to him. He saw it. But still no response.

Next moment Jamie saw Shane's status.

It stated, "Sometimes it's harder to get what we want. Even though we want something, God will never let us gave it."

The words killed Jamie. She cried. She understood that Shane is unmarried. She was happy with it. 

Will she find him?

Wait and see!! 

She decides to change her residence.

So she went to Chennai. 

One month has passed.

Chennai doesn't suit her. She want to go for hospital, due to allergic sensation. She found someone from a distance looking at her. But she couldn't see clearly, When she was moving closer, it was Shane. 

It was a pity to see his condition his legs were paralysed due to an accident. Jamie cried louder. He told her to control the tears.

She couldn't control. She hugged him and cried. 

Shane suddenly shouted,

* Go away from me.

* Why?

* Your marriage is near. Am I right?  

* Yes. I am.

* Then go away from me.

* How can I go away? 

* What?

* The one who I wanna marry is you. You are my Valentine.

Shane was sobbing. She wiped his tears.

* Tell me what happened to you? 

Scence shifts to the past. 

* I informed you that my second sister's wedding would take time. We received a good alliance for her. I came to Chennai to receive the debt from my uncle. I thought to inform you but I didn't sorry. I reached home. My parents planned to see the uncle. I took my phone to inform you about it. But to my bad luck it's battery died. I couldn't recharge my phone. We reached Chennai. Father and Mom stayed at my first sister's home. My second sister and I stayed at my uncle's house. I was tired so I slept. I wasn't able to message you. Next day, I woke up and charged my phone. I went to buy vegetables for the lunch. On the way I met with an accident. My legs were damaged I became crippled. I thought you might not marry me. That's why I stopped messaging you. I have been in treatment for nearly one year, still no improvement in my health. I will remain crippled till my end. I couldn't able to earn money for you. You better marry someone else.

Back to the present. 

Jamie slapped him.

Shane shouted.

* Why are you slapping me?

* Who told you I won't marry you? No problem whatever your health is,

You are my Valentine. Without you my life is incomplete. I am angry with you for not informing me about this accident. Do you know? I am not happy after you left me.

She cried. She hugged him and put her head on his shoulders.

Jamie narrated him the whole story. She cried.  

He comforted her.

* Honey let's get married.

* No, my healthhhh. (She pinches his cheek)

* Shouts Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!

* Will you again use this word?

* Ahhhhhhh!! Please stop pinching me. 

*Will you repeat the same?

*Noooooo.

* Don't worry I will make you walk.

* How?

* Put your complete faith on God and your love. By the way where is your family?

* They left me once I was cribbled.

* I will take care of you. Once you began to walk let's get married. 

Jamie kissed her love.

Jamie informed her about her destiny.

It is the will of God that made her meet him.

They stayed in the nearby apartment. She worked in the near by college. Jamie took him to the physiotherapist. Jamie holded his hands and made him to walk. Though it's harder for him. Jamie motivated him. It's her love healed him.

His shame, illness was restored.
