True love

"Wait what! Jamie You're leaving me. 

Tell me what's the problem, we'll fix it,"

said Zeena with astonishment

"There's nothing to fix Zeena," shouted Jamie.

"Why are you shouting at me? " cried Zeena

"Just because I'm fed up with you and I don't love you anymore," replied Jamie.

 With tears in her eyes, Zeena said, 

"but you promised me we'll be together forever, didn't you?"

"Yes , I did but its what all lovers do, right. Now i want a break from you, that's it. Goodbye, I hope we don't see each other anymore," He walked away.

" B..But Jamie wait, where are you going!"

Zeena shouted.

 

Zeena was so shocked for what had happened just a moment ago that she just sat there with tears flowing continuously through her eyes. Zeena was so excited to meet Jamie after a month but now she is just sitting there heartbroken with no one by her side. She kept thinking about the moments she spent with Jamie. She remembered the first time they both met in college and Jamie fell for her on that very same day. Since then they have been together for almost 3 years. She remembers the time when he confessed his love for her and promised that they will be together no matter what but now he just left without even giving a proper reason to leave her. 

 She was sitting there in a depressed state and suddenly tiny drops of rain started to fall on her and was turning to a downpour. She sat there still and silent was in no mood to move from that place. Everyone was running for shelter and no one cared for her sitting in the rain. 

As she was sitting there, she felt someone's presence close to her and then she heard a soft voice,

"Why are you sitting here, dear?" You are getting all wet. Let's go from here". 

Zeena looked up with her sad face and dull eyes and saw a young lady same as her age. She didn't want to go but still went with her. Zeena was wet and cold so the young lady took her to a cafe to have hot cup of coffee. She was sitting motionless so the lady asked,

"So do you want to share anything with me"

Taking a sip of coffee she continued,

"It looks like you went through a lot, like a break up or something, am i right?" 

"w..what ho..how did you know that did you see him leave me, " she asked. 

"Umm... No I just felt something like that happened to you , " The lady replied.

"Yes, but still," Zeena said.

"Well, I went through something like that recently so i know how you feel". The young lady said.

"Really! what happened? did he leave you?" She asked slowly.

With a little smile she replied, "Yess, he left me for another girl without even saying a word and despite we knew each other for a long time, he pretended not to know me, isn't that ridiculous!"

"Ohh, that's even worse than mine, but are you okay, i guess you suffered more than me," Zeena said sympathetically.

"I'm actually more than okay than you think. I've left behind everything and started focusing on myself," the lady said.

"Wow, i wish I could be half as strong as you," Zeena said in the low voice. "But can I ask you how did you do that?"

"Well...you know I just told myself that he is not the right person for me and I deserve much better than him, when he left me I thought why did it happened to me. The world seemed to fall apart.

" I felt like the most hated person in the world until I found JESUS, I was a person who never believed in God but when I found that he is the one who loves me truly that he died for me , he filled my heart with peace and joy and I won't go after any man now and I believe that he will bring the right person infront of me at right time with whom I can spend the rest of my life.

"Wow! Did he really die. It is amazimg that someone can give his own life out of love. That sure is true love. Now I also want to know about Jesus. Will he also give me peace of mind and make me forget all my worries.

"Oh Yes. Yes, of course. He not only gave his life for me and you but for the entire world So now let me pray for you that you may also feel his true love and peace."
