Tree of Love

They met each other for a very brief period of time, articulated their hearts, understood each other inside out and could read the eyes of one another without any effort. Surely they could have a very beautiful journey going through the various paths of happiness and sorrows and could enjoy life to the fullest.

But they stopped, looked back and decided not to continue their self made journey for some higher cause, which was way more important and needed at that time. They no more wanted to dance in the tune they designed no matter how much soothing and mellifluous it was. Rather they decided to dance in the tune life has thrown at them. 

To my surprise, they are still happy, contented, fulfilled and enjoying the gift of life serenely every moment and are sprinkling the same around them. Now they have become the cause of happiness for many!!

When they were asked later in their lives what makes them so much happy, they replied - 'When we water the tree of love at its root which is always under the ground and can never be seen, we see its leaves, stems, fruits smiling beautifully and standing strong, very strong and straight even in the greatest storm. The cause is a strong bond between the unseen roots.

Note: Not sure about sentence construction but just wanted to write my emotion!!
