Charlotte was a 3 year old self obsessed kid of kindergarten. It wasn't because she was egoistic or her upbringing was bad. It was because she had nobody to care about her. None of the teachers, friends or family members cared about her. She was brought up as if she was adopted. But, being a 3 year old, she wasn't aware of what people thought of her. She used to be busy in her barbie world with lots of dolls around her. Those little hands, also did some cute paintings at times. She spent the rest of her time on her school home work. As she grew up, she realised that she had been underestimated since years. Charlotte got to know that nobody in this wide world is good enough. Years passed by.

It was her 12th birthday. Wasn't a special day for others. To her it was worse than the normal days as she cried a lot, not because she didn't get wishes or gifts, it was because she remembered the time when she was born. There wasn't any celebration for her being born. Everybody present there, was sad as on the first hand, she was a girl and on the other hand, she wasn't as beautiful as her cousins and siblings. Later that evening, there wasn't any cake for her. She cried the whole night and finally slept.

After a few days, it was time for her 6th grade final exam results. She was excited and at the same time, scared of the thought of comparison. She wasn't a great student, but she wasn't bad either. It's just because nobody cooperated with her during her exams.

After an hour, her result was out. She performed seemingly well. She quickly calculated the percentage. 98.7%, she ran to tell her family and friends. Some were happy and the others were jealous. Just after an hour. A phone call from the school came. The teachers informed that she had topped in her class. Tears of joy burst out of Charlotte's face.

Finally, after a lot of handwork, struggle, and comparison, she excelled.

Moral :- Never underestimate the power of a child. Comparisons harm their mental peace and that's the reason why they can't excel.
