Thread Of Love
Thread Of Love
This was the era when India had just gained its independence, and the whole atmosphere was filled with love of unity and brotherhood among the citizens. Two neighbors lived in an area near the city. In the two neighboring houses lived a little boy named Aman and a little girl named Priya, both from different religious backgrounds.
Despite their religious differences, Aman and Priya's childhood was bound by an unbreakable brother-sister love; they understood each other's feelings well and celebrated each other's festivals happily. Their childhood love and friendship were beyond any division.
Every year, when the festival of Rakhi came, Aman and Priya used to celebrate it in a unique and heart-touching way. Priya would tie Rakhi on Aman's wrist, symbolizing not only the bond of brotherhood but also the unity of their hearts. In return, Aman, giving his words, would pledge to protect and take care of Priya.
As the years passed, Aman and Priya became young adults, but their tradition of tying Rakhi remained unchanged. However, the harmony in their neighborhood began to wane. The country was facing unrest as religious divisions had begun to poison the air.
One unfortunate day, a curfew was imposed in their area due to rising tension. Despite the chaos outside, Priya walks out to meet Aman with the sacred Rakhi in her hand. When she reached Aman's house, she saw that Aman, the victim of a growing religious feud, was lying lifeless in front of his house. Today itself, some unknown people had ended Aman's life to fulfill their unknown intentions.
Filled with grief and shock, Priya, with tears streaming down her face, gently tied the Rakhi to the hand of the dead Aman. People gathered around, it was a poignant moment that symbolized their enduring bond of love, unity, and the tragic consequences of a world torn apart by religious conflict.
The story of Aman and Priya was a strong example of brotherhood,
Their thread of love and protection transcended religious boundaries, leaving a legacy of hope and an appeal for peace in a world affected by division.
