THINK TWICE ACT WISE!!

THINK TWICE ACT WISE!!

Hey!

Did you know that nearly 60 percent of people in India own pets.

 Yes!! You read it right.

According to the survey done , nearly 60 percent of people in India own pets.

But would you believe me that around 50 percent of people from these who own pets are either inadvertently or deliberately abandoned by their owners by either dumping animals on streets or by leaving them alone in a vacant property.

Yes, that's true.

It was one day when I was on the terrace of my house where suddenly I heard some children screaming. I was blind for a minute but later understood everything what was happening there.

Three dogs surrounded around a sixteen year girl named Charbi who was my neighbour. She and her friends were screaming for help.

This was all fine because dogs usually surround many people especially around strangers.

The reason of the dogs coming near Charvi was not that because she was a stranger but it was because it was because there was a kitten in her hand.

People nearby tried to save her by scaring the dog through stones etc by which the dogs ran away.

After talking to Charvi, I got to know that the kitten had been there, packed in a box since last night. No one touched the box thinking that it contained garbage. After checking the CCTV footage of the previous night, we got to know that a couple had left the box there at around some 11 in the night.

The next day when it was around some 3'O clock in the afternoon, the dogs found that box , broke it into pieces and were trying to attack the little kitten. The kitten ran screaming to save her life. But somehow, she got some wounds on her body.

After the dogs ran away, the kitten was taken to hospital and a treatment was done. After a week, happily the kitten was alright.

And its been a year today since this incident took place and the kitten is happily staying with Charvi. I frequently go at Charvi's place and spend little time playing with the kitten.

The incident which I saw that day totally changed my mindset.

Just imagine how it feels when someone throws you out of your house and you dont know anything what t do next and someone rules on you.

Some people own pets for just showing off in the society. They wouldnt even think once about what would happen or what would be the condition of the pet after its thrown or kept somewhere.

I request one and all who are reading this article and who own pets at home to accept pets as a member of your family.

After buying a pet, please ensure that you take proper care of the pet, the same way you care for yourself.

They expect nothing from us but just good behaviour.

They too have feelings and emotions but they can't express it.

If you're not able to look after your pet, please do not leave them in streets or anywhere like these people did.

Instead please return them to the shops from where you purchased or anyone who really is interested in owning a pet.

Atleast a life is not gone and saved as in this incident.
