It was pouring outside. The trees swayed to the rhythm of the thunder and the loud pitter-patter of rain. Amy Winchester lay in her bed with a pillow covering her ears. She was terrified by the rain. the sound of the water droplets hitting the glass window seriously creeped her out. but today it wasn't just raining. No. Today was the biggest storm their country had seen in over a decade. The light flickered and suddenly went out. Random flashes of lightning lit up the room. Suddenly the door slammed shut so tightly that it shook the entire house. she was sure she had locked the door. But maybe..?? She got up slowly, covering her ears with her hands. She tiptoed down the stairs towards the front. she stopped right in her tracks at the sight in front of her. The front door was wide open with wed footprints leading towards the guest bedroom. Her blood ran cold as she grabbed the sharpest knife from her kitchen and started moving towards the bedroom. "They are back," she thought. But how was it possible? They weren't going to come back, she made sure of it. She stopped near the bedroom door and slowly opened it, inching forward, the knife gripped tightly. As soon as she stepped in, she was greeted with a gun in her face. "Amy Woods, you are under arrest!" Woods?! After all she had done for him, she was known by Woods? While his pretty little fiancé, Lily, got to keep his last name? After she was the one who loved him for all these years? No, Lily had not deserved it. If she couldn't have him, no one would. especially that gold digger Lily, who did not even care about him. So she took care of her. She tried to tell him about the nature of that girl but he wouldn't listen. he threatened to call 911. So she had no choice but to shoot him in the face. Amy was glad she was the one who got to see his last breath. She knew she would be with him in the afterlife, she was sure of it. They were meant to be together. She still remembered the sound of the drops of blood falling on the white marble floor. It sounded so much like the rain droplets. She turned her attention towards the officer and the gears in her brain started turning. She took one last look at the officer and grabbed his head in her hand and twisted it as fast as she could. Crack. it sounded exactly like the popping of wood in the fireplace. the officer fell limp in her hands. As she stared down at his dead body she was hit by a realization. the sound of the rain droplets would be the only one that annoyed her anymore.
