Expect the unexpected. A quote that has some essence of the truth. Nothing is what it seems. Everyone has a secret, a dark and evil secret. But if someone can't control it, they are dangerous. Some......are too deep in, that they can't stop, and it turns into an addiction. This is the story of someone, who had the greatest evil.

Police sirens in the distance. Thousands of people gazed at the bodies. It happened right on the worst day possible: Friday the 13th, 3 in the morning, on a full moon night. The Heart Striker made his move. An unsuspecting couple. Luckily, the police sent it's best.

Officer Adav was approaching the scene sipping on a whiskey. He smiled. He recently encountered the ghost of the house on the hill, and he needed a break, and this seemed like the ticket.

He exited his vehicle and examined the bodies. It is a similar pattern to the previous murders. His symbol, a snake engulfing a heart, was drawn on the ground.

"You did it again," Adav said. His best friend and colleague, Advik, joined him on the scene.

"This guy is very smart. Not as smart as me." Advik said.

"You always were a narcissist. But now, we have work to do."

Adav looked around. He noticed very subtle bike tracks.

"We are looking for a modded bike. The tires are very small and nimble, but it is not a dirt bike. It is clear that he was in a hurry, and since this is an isolated road, some native must've seen him do the deed, and he didn't have time to get rid of them." Adav finished. He looked at the natives.

He looked them in the eyes, and they didn't avert their gaze. But one.

Adav walked to the young girl. She seemed about 12 years old. Adav walked to her.

"Hello. What's your name?" Adav asked.

"Kirthi."

Adav noticed she was fiddling with her right thumb.

"Did you see the mean person?"

Kirthi's eyes filled.

She nodded.

"Why're you lying?" Adav asked in a sweet but firm tone.

"Yes. I saw him. He....stab....." Kirthi fainted in shock.

Adav shrieked for help, and an ambulance took the girl away.

"I have a feeling he left the girl alive on purpose," Advik said.

"That could be true. I have a feeling that he is trying to reach us. I have a feeling....that he wants to stop."

"He definitely does." Advik cracked his knuckles. "The chase ends here."

Adav glanced at Advik.

"Did you come with us?" He asked.

"No. I came separately." Advik said.

Adav nodded.

The next day, Adav was in his big empty house. He switched off the television and gazed at the foggy mountains when he noticed a figure coming in his direction.

He whipped out his pistol.

"Identify yourself!"

The figure was grabbing a body by the leg. When he reached a suitable distance, Adav knew it was the Heart Striker. The same blood-red suit, with a mask painted with blood, and different weapons hanging in his belt.

The Striker flung the body to the window, and it crashed through the glass. There was a note on the forehead.

"Let's finish this. Meet me in the mountains, by the house on the hill."

Adav smiled.

"Let's do this, Striker."

The next night, Adav climbed aboard his Gypsy and sped off to the house on the hill.

He could see the bodies of the previous unfortunate victims. He noticed the modded bike, and a trail of blood, which led inside the house. The moment he got in, a knife flung towards his direction, but he grabbed it and flung it back.

"Good," Advik said as he removed his mask.

Adav looked in shock. He couldn't contemplate what is happening.

"I had a difficult childhood. I had....a lot of anger towards my parents who abused me so much. I took it all out on innocent people by killing them. Then.....this little voice kept telling me to keep doing it whenever I try to stop. That's why I called you here, to arrest me."

"But unfortunately..." Another voice said. It came from Advik. His dark secret....came to life.

"That is going to be hard."

Advik flung poisoned knives at Adav. Adav whipped out his pistol and fired shots at his best friend. He missed every one of them, and Advik still stood, with an evil sneer. He looked at Adav, and took a poisoned knife, and ran towards him.

Advik tumbled on top of Adav and held the knife at his face.

But, Adav kicked Advik on the spine, which took him by surprise, that he dropped the knife, and Adav took hold of it. He held it at Advik's heart and kicked him again, and his best friend fell on the knife, putting an end to the era of darkness.

Unfortunately, Adav found out why Advik wore gloves when he threw the knives. He planned the out before. He poisoned the handle as well, and the cut in the palm of Adav absorbed the poison, ending the brilliant officer's life.
