The Tactics Of Mind
The Tactics Of Mind
Maharaja was the Emperor of the province of Mahanagar. It was as huge as having 206 villages under the coverage of the Mahanagar.
Emperor was mighty, generous, gentle as a King, but as a warrior, he was fierce, brave and undefeated. He protected his Kingdom and his Province just like his own life. He had attained knowledge from the greatest of the great educationists.
He only had one drawback, he couldn't read and write. He depended wholly on his Mantri in case of any correspondences he had to manage in his day to day affairs. For the same, he trusted his Mantri over anyone else. Mantri would write and read whatever King would tell him.
One fine day, a man bribed Mantri and asked him to bring the Emperor to the forest for 1 lakh gold Mudras. It was a conspiracy to Kill the mighty Emperor.
Due to the greed of such high amount, Mantri did, whatever he was told. Mantri sent a falsified letter, as he knew the weakness of Maharaja.
The Emperor in a hoarse voice, called for his minister, "Mantri ji, where are you? There is a clarification I require." Mantri came running, "Yes Maharaj, it is the letter of invitation from neighboring King. He has invited you for a nature stroll in the nearby forest."
Maharaja went there and two of the dacoits killed him. Mantri got his reward but lost the emperor.
His life went on a downfall since he knew nothing but to read and write. He lost his job, wealth and reputation. The eyes which used to bow with respect, starting bowing in shame in front of him.
In the similar way, our Heart (soul) is the king and Mind is Mantri. Our heart trusts our mind and works with its direction, but not losing its own consciousness. Our Mind may get away due to the human weaknesses of greed, pride, ego, but our heart remains pure and connected to eternal power. And with such pure and delicate nature, our heart gets killed and filled up with lots of Negative thoughts and feelings. Our mind is left with grief, loneliness, disgrace.
Many a times, we rely on our mind, and it makes us do things, which we never expect for. It hurts our near and dear ones which our heart would never permit us. Due to our mindful activities, we lose our most precious treasure of pure mental and emotional peace.
Hence, one should make sure, to keep the Mind at peace and heart with full of joy, love, kindness and gratitude. Life is short to crib, why not smile.
