The Real Warriors

In March 2020, India went into lockdown. Only essential services shops were open. The Corona fear had grappled people all around. A doctor was asked how his life has changed in this lockdown. He said "We medical professionals had to work hard to treat patients. We have to risk ourselves and we are exposed to the virus and also sometimes we get rashes from the uncomfortable PPE kits. However, people still behave rudely with us and think of us as their enemy. They shout at us in hospital and look at us as virus carriers outside the hospital. People don't realize that we are the real corona warriors. All they have done is expose their cruelty in this uncertain time." With tears in his eyes, the doctor left for his shift saying "We are the real warriors"
