The Real Life Ghost

Some years back I had gone to Bangalore on a business trip for a meeting. The meeting was of one day but I stayed there for two days because I was exhausted by driving the car and also because I liked that city. After two days I was returning home, it was a very long journey and suddenly the car stopped. I got out and checked the car, there was nothing wrong with it. It was a dense forest area through which the road crossed. While I was calling for help and fixing the car, I saw a shadow like a beast was lying on the road but when I moved closer it was just a fallen tree with branches sticking out. From the shadow, a female figure holding a bundle or something emerged.

When I looked closer the female had red eyes, pale white skin and was carrying some sort of dog of a very different breed. Her dog pounced on me and I fell down, the woman moved closer. I got up as quickly as I could and ran for my life. The female suddenly disappeared. One minute she was there and the other minute she was just gone like nothing happened. I wanted to find the truth about her but it was like catching smoke, like catching smoke with bare hands. When I went back to the car, and sat inside, the car started on its own. I sat down, put my seat belt, locked the doors and drove back carefully but very fast because I was frightened by the female's sudden disappearance. That was the moment I decided that I would never travel by car at night. When I reached home and narrated the incident to my mother she immediately took me to the police station and got my case filed. The police told me that some other people had also reported the same thing and a case was already going on. Today even after many years the case still goes on.
