The Darkest Discovery

When Sukriti woke up she found herself lying on the footpath. Passersby were watching her. She could not understand how she reached there though she had slept in her house. Her clothes were torn and had scratches. She came to her senses and walked back to her house. She lived in Privet Drive house no. 4. Her house was painted in creamy white colour. When she went in she was shocked and scared to see scratches and bloodstains on the walls. She immediately called 911. The police arrived in an hour. A special detective was assigned to this case. The detective was a tall man with black eyes and brown hair. He started investigating the case and after a month he found out that the prints on the walls were of a monstrous creature that was out of the animal kingdom of earth. Sukriti after listening to the detective could see all the clues making sense.

So that night she installed CCTV cameras in her room and the rest of the house and went to bed like she normally did. It was a full moon night like the full moon night which happened last time when she ended up outside on the footpath. At midnight when the rays of the moonstruck her body she slowly while asleep started transforming into a hideous beast. Her hands had turned into claws, her body was having dirty dark green scales and a tale had grown on her body. Her hands were like a duck's foot. She woke up with a thump but she was not in her senses and her bright scary yellow eyes stared right into the camera and knocked it. Again after a rough night, she woke on the footpath. This time when she woke up she rushed home and switched on the recordings of the CCTVs. To her shock, she found out that every full moon night she used to transform into a werelizard( human lizard). After a whole lot of research turns out that it was an ancient curse which is transferred from a poisonous blue lizard to a human during a full moon night. That was when Sukriti remembered that she had gotten bitten by a blue lizard who had died immediately after biting her during her trip to Egypt and now she had to suffer throughout her life.
