The Race For?

One day at Seven Seas college, two classmates hated each other. They didn’t like each other’s guts or didn’t like their personalities, at least this was from Robby’s side of opinion. The boy’s name was Robby and the girl’s name was Julian. Robby was a mischievous and naughty boy. He loved sports and hated studies but Julian on the other hand loved to study and play sports too! She was very disciplined and always used to get full marks in her exams. She was a psychologist. There was this interest that they both shared, and it was Car racing.

One day, in school, there was a competition for Car racing. This was the perfect opportunity for Robby and Julian. They both signed up for it and when the list of competitors was published, they both were shocked to see each other’s names on the list. That day, they both went to the field (with other competitors) and started car racing. This was just to know how much each competitor knows about car racing and was a practice for the event. Being a first time activity for everyone, they did not know anything about car racing but when Robby’s and Julian’s turn came, they raced each other with booming speed. When they finished, Robby said to Julian,” You will never win because you are just a girl!”. Julian was very offended and angry but didn’t say a word. It was the next day and that day was to race car each other.

There were 3 rows, one was Kitty and Logan, the second was Raven and Libby, and the third row was Julian and Robby. Each row had a girl and a boy. They started practicing the whole week and Julian never forgot what Robby said to her. The next thing they knew was the day of the competition. Everyone from the school was there including the families.  The race began and the first row went first. In the first row, Logan won! Then the second row went and Libby won in it! Now it was all up to Julian to prove that girls can do car racing!! “Ready, Set…. And GO!!!” said the coaches. Robby and Julian set off and we're not letting the other go ahead. In the middle of the race, Julian remembered what Robby had said to her and she went faster.

At last, she won!! Julian proved that girls CAN do Car racing. “You didn’t race to win, Robby, you raced not to lose,” said Julian. “ Is that not the same as winning??” said Robby
