The Ocean And The Birds
The Ocean And The Birds
A pair of Birds lived on the shores of an ocean. The female Bird was about to have babies. She told her husband to find a suitable and quiet place where she could lay her eggs.
The male bird said that the shore was the right place and they need not go elsewhere.
The female bird replied that when the tide is high, that place becomes flooded with water!
The male bird said that the ocean would not dare to do such a thing!
So, the poor female had to lay her eggs on the shore. The Ocean carried off the eggs as soon as they were laid!
The poor wife cried as her eggs were gone?
The husband said that he would get the eggs back. Saying so, the Male Bird, along with the other Birds, went to the Lord of the Birds.
The Male Bird addressed the Lord of the Birds as Master and said that they were living peacefully and happily. But the Ocean had made him and his wife very unhappy by taking away her eggs!
The Lord of the Birds told Jupiter, the Preserver of the World, all that had happened. Jupiter then ordered the
Ocean to return the eggs to the Birds.
The Ocean obeyed Jupiter’s order and returned the eggs!
The moral of this story is that Where there is a will, there is a way!
