All our lives we are confined within our own circles, be it our profession. There is a subtle dichotomy about who we want in those circles and who we do not want. This post seeks to answer those questions.

All our professions can be thought of as our circle. Most of us want to include other people like our friends and families to this professions like software engineering or other professions. But at the same time, there is a certain dichotomy that exists which means that due to certain reasons like to avoid competition or if we feel that certain people are not that well trained in that domain, we shun them off saying that they might be better off in other professions. So this condescending feeling is something to detest. Also the other feeling that what I am doing today should influence others and they should also do it is detestable.

There is a fundamental difference when we both of these bipolar situations occur. People try to include you into their circles when you don’t have much idea or knowledge about that or when they are senior in that field. On the other hand, people try not to include you in their circle if you have already made up your mind to do it.

This circle is also something which people in these circles cannot get out of. They somehow have less empathy for people not belonging to this cycle.
