The Mystery Of The Emerald

I am Chad, one of the finders of the cursed emerald, And I guess its time to tell you about my quest to the mountains of Sinai 

So, It all started one day when I had just been in to one of those clubs where you meet new people and talk about your interests. It was the first time I had ever been into a club like this. This club was actually about emeralds and other gems

 In the actual world, I'm a very shy person and this wasn't the best way to get started. But I didn't feel that bad about my first day! The people in the club were good to me, I mean that I found a friend! his name was Daniel.

Now fast forward a couple of weeks, we were learning about the cursed emerald, which was an emerald that was buried in the deep dunes of none other than Egypt- The kingdom of the pharaohs. I and Daniel were more than excited about this, especially because mine and Daniel's family were going to Egypt this summer.

Well after a good look on the map I found out two things one was good and the other wasn't

The two things told me that we found an uncharted tomb and the bad was that that now we couldn't get back to Mount Sinai. But I was glad that we had gotten one step closer to finding the CURSED EMERALD!

We went inside making sure not to touch anything because we knew one thing for sure- We knew that this place was BOOBY TRAPPED. We went into the board that read "الطريق إلى الزمرد لعن"

Neither of us knew Arabic so it was an interesting mystery. Now was more of an adventure than ever! many signs read stuff like "بدوره إلى الوراء!" and "الفرصة الاخيره" but as we could understand none of that so we had to keep going.

We were pretty smooth until Daniel set up a booby trap and we fell into this chamber, taking almost half an hour to get out. We went on a little bit more until we saw the green emerald in all its glory! I went to grab the emerald, I understood why it was called the "cursed emerald" by the Egyptians. It would not let me touch itself! as soon as I grabbed it, the wall of the entrance started to close! we held on to the emerald tightly and started to run! we were just in time to make it through!

 But this wasn't the end of it, while we were trying to get out from the jungle, an enormous serpent-like structure started chasing us to get the emerald back, ad this wasn't a very good scenario for us. We ran and ran till we finally stumbled upon this other temple, knowing that there was nowhere else that we could go. Well, it wasn't the best decision I have ever made. First of all the things we saw in there was that there were a million serpents right in front of us and a giant one behind us. I am a human, not an alien who studies weird serpents, while I was thinking about what to do, this other fool jumped into one of these holes, and honestly, I didn't know what to do so I jumped in with him and that was the best move that I have ever made in this mission. The 'hole' turned out to be a tunnel which led us back to the temple where we found our parents and finally went home! back to India. Well, I still wonder if the serpents are still looking for us but I do know that the shall never find us! at least there!
