Journey Through Time: Egypt

I woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm clock. It was a Monday. I was debating on what reason I should use to get out of going to, I mean like, Honestly, I did not want to go to school, especially after playing video games till one in the morning. I wanted to stay home from school, but whenever I missed school something interesting or fun happened, and I was pretty sure this time was not going to be an excuse. I literally dragged myself out of my comfortable bed, brushed my teeth and bathed. When I went Downstairs for Breakfast I heard a voice: -

“It is Time, I am waiting for you, I shall meet you at 7 am in the woods” Then the voice faded away.

 

I skipped Breakfast, Told my Mom I had to go to school early today, grabbed my backpack and dashed out to the woods. In the woods, I saw somebody, Potentially waiting for me:-It was Morgan, a well-known friend of mine. She was still. The cold Breeze of the morning swept her hair towards the left. She did not utter a word, She was as still as the branches, just swaying to the wind.

But soon she whispered

“Your vociferous really matter,

 In Egypt, you will have to tatter,

Make sure you are not followed,

In the past, you will have to swallow,

And remember: ---- You are an Investigator”

 

This did not make any sense to me, and I said, “What do you –” She cut me off! She just handed me Egyptian Robes and an Earpiece

 I don’t remember clearly, but my mind says “That is when I fainted”

 

I woke up to the sound of a camel, and when I looked around me, I realized I was in Egypt, but I was carried by to weird soldier’s, I looked in the front and let me say to my defense – I have read and seen enough to say I was going to Cleopatra’s castle. (I guess I was a traitor in ancient Egypt! oh no!)

 Cleopatra was a very smart person. (As per my history textbook) As soon as she saw me she just acted cool and asked me: --- “Who are you? What do you do for a living?” (I understood her because of the earpiece I received) I replied: - I am Ani, I am an investigator, but I can also write. (I remembered! thank god!) She asked me to find a very special mirror when I realized that this was the mirror that I had seen in the museum)

I searched around the whole day to find that very special mirror, and This is where I went

1. I took a stroll in the garden to find the mirror but fell into a pool of very violent fishes

2. I went to the palace temple, where I hit my head on the sphinx ouch!

3. And finally, I went to the chamber where the royal lionesses were held, and that was where I saw it, that shiny mirror of Cleopatra! I grabbed it and rushed out, I did not want to be lunch and after this nothing really Important happened so I guess it is time to finally say that it is THE END! Bye Gu's!
