The Mysterious Night

I am not a writer it's my first time writing a story. I hope that those who will read it will help me to rectify the mistakes and learn more.

Let's start the story.

At that time my age was approximately 16 years old, I stay with my mother and father. Both of my parents do the job, my mother is a teacher in a government school and is an employee in a private company the night I am going to tell you all about, at that time my mother due to some reason was unable to come back and my father was out of the station. That was my first time staying alone at night, anyway, I still agreed to stay. That night as I was alone I went to sleep early, I have the habit to sleep in a completely dark room so I turned off all the light and slept but around 2 AM I somehow felt that someone was sleeping beside me, I dare not act rashly so I slowly picked my phone and turned the flashlight on and turned that side but there was no one. I thought that maybe I was scared because I am not used to stay alone at night so I drank some water to calm myself ( I had the habit to keep a water bottle behind my pillow) a then slept. 

But when I woke up in the morning I found a mark or scratch on the wall, but it was impossible to because our house painting ended and arranged everything just a few days ago and I was sure that until I turned off the lights last night it was not there. But I still consoled myself and told myself that I am mistaken I also didn't tell my parents about it. It also never happened again it been a year now I often stay alone at night. Although I told myself that I was mistaken but deep down in my heart I still feel that whatever happened was true. But surprisingly it never happened again.
