The Lunar Love
The Lunar Love
She fed her son and cradled her daughter to bed. Life seemed a gift of happiness presented in the alluring cover of enchanting experiences.
But it wasn’t complete.
Having made sure that her kids were safely tucked into the bed, she walked towards the balcony.
She had done this activity continuously for 5 years except for a few.
She used to look forward to nights. The sunset didn’t appeal her, but the shimmer of the moon hovered a smile on her face. Every single time.
She trudged towards the end and breathed the air. Serene it was.
She gazed at the moon.
There wasn’t admiration in her eyes, there was love.
The moon was a bond.
Several miles away, he lay on the solid ground across the enemy border and watched the moon.
The soldier found his love watching him through the lunar radiance.
The bond was completed.
