The Lost Sword -MV02FK09

A frightened Charu rushed back home with more questions than answers in her mind. She was trembling when she reached home. Her Father noticed that something was wrong with Charu, so he asked her to join him for dinner however she excused herself saying that she was not hungry, had an important assignment to complete. Having said that she directly headed to her room. Post her arrival in the house, It was for the 1st time that her dad had asked her to come and have dinner with him, but her head was spinning so badly that she had no option but to refuse it.

Now, Mr. Mani was sure there was indeed something deep going on with her. Maybe she had finally uncovered the truth. For the past, so many years his, relationship with Charu had been challenging and complicated and now obviously, he can't expect his little girl to come running to him for the solution instead, she was struggling with it all by herself.

He came to know about her visit to Vincent home, the museum, the lost sword through one of his sources and was worried about her daughter. It was high time that he discussed with her. But before that, he needed to discuss it with his mother.

This, may not seem the apt time to discuss with his mother, but again the need of the hour demanded it and, he had no choice but to abide by it. Hence without wasting any time, he headed right to his mother's room before talking to Charu.

On the other side, Charu locked her room immediately and sat on the bed. She was still trembling with her being the dead ringer of Sheryl Varghese and the way Martha freaked out seeing her and shouted, "Sheryl again and again, her head was spinning. She felt as if she was about to have a panic attack. Though being the winter, she was sweating and trembling.No, this can't be true, she kept numbering to herself, again and again, I must be dreaming, she pinched herself but in vain.

Mr. Mani went to his mother's room, she was lying on her bed, with her eyes closed. He was about to return when his mother said, " Mani, you wanted to talk about something. He looked back and sat next to his mother's bed. Holding her hands, he told his mother everything she looked worried but calmly replied, "Mani, You need to tell her the truth. We did our best to hide the secret from her for a long time, but it seems that it's now time for the secret to being revealed.

Maa, I want to protect her; you know the secret has such a dark past it would be difficult for her to handle it. My little girl doesn't deserve all this Mr. Mani was in tears as he poured his heart out to his mother.

His mother could understand his son's pain she replied," I know Mani, but we knew this day would come, but trust me your little girl is a very brave and strong person and, I am sure she'll get through this.

Mani further told his mother, "You remember when we showed her horoscope for the 1st time, the priest told us," She is a brave soul, who has come for justice. Since then, we all had been trying hard to keep Charu away from the secret, but today it seems she stumped on the truth.

Vincent called me up to update me about Charu asking questions about Hotel Mount Varghese, City Mall, and Maa the shocking news we received today from the museum was, "The sword went missing today.No one has any idea as to how it got disappeared from the museum. The police are also searching for it, but till now there is no news of it. Vincent is closely working with the police and museum people to find the sword.

I don't know Maa whether it's just a coincidence that the sword went missing today, but it's not a good indication. Something bad is going to happen and I want to protect my daughter. I don't know how I am going to do it, but I'll not let anything harm my daughter.

I'll do one thing. I'll ask her to leave this city and go back to New York. At least if she stays away from this city, this would protect her.

Charu got startled with the knock and that too his Father wanted to speak to her now. She was not in the mental state to talk to him and so replied, "Father, I am occupied with the law assignment can we talk in the morning, please.

His Father gathered courage, knocked on the door again, and finally said, "I want to talk about Sheryl Varghese and the missing sword MV02FK0".

Charu thought she heard incorrectly she got up and open the door and said again, Father, what did you just say?

Looking at Charu, he could understand how terrified she was and that it was her responsibility to protect her.
