The Little Garden of joy

The Little Garden of joy

Mira lived in a quiet village nestled between hills and forests. She didn’t have much—just a small cottage, a dog named Lilo, and a tiny garden—but her heart was always full.

Every morning, she woke up to birds singing and sunlight spilling through the window. She’d brew her tea, water her plants, and talk to Lilo like he was a wise old friend. The village children often stopped by to help her garden in exchange for her famous mango jam.

One day, a traveler passed through and asked, “You live alone, with no car, no TV, no internet… aren’t you lonely?”

Mira smiled and replied, “Lonely? I have the sky to watch, flowers to grow, stories to share, and love to give. What more do I need?”

As the seasons passed, Mira’s garden bloomed in every color. People began to visit not just for jam, but for her peace. They said her garden felt like a warm hug.

Mira’s life was simple, but not empty. It was full of laughter, kindness, and quiet joy—the kind that doesn’t shout but lingers, like the scent of blooming jasmine at sunset.

*Moral:*
Happiness isn’t found in having everything, but in loving what you have.
