"Dr. Vishnu! Please come in" said the inspector.

The detective, who stepped out of his car, was tall and thin. He wore black sunglasses to cover his brown eyes. His face was stern and seemed to be made up of tough leather.

"What is the case about?" he asked even though he read the facts about it.

"A famous journalist, Louis Hanner, is struck by lightning. A direct hit. It seems to be a natural death but all this happened two days before his meeting with the American diplomat. So to be in a safer side, we called you to confirm our findings." the inspector spoke as they climbed through the stairs and reached the Terrance of the victim's villa.

Dr. Vishnu, who was listening deeply, asked "Who found the body?".

"Louis's wife. She actually saw what happened."

The detective's ears pricked up. This was not written in the facts. "What was she doing here?"

"She was carrying tea for her husband."

"Did you interrogate her?"

"Yes."

"What did she say?"

The inspector frowned but answered the same "She said that she heard a thunder as she opened the door. She thought that it was going to rain. When she went to warn her husband, the lightning fall on him."

The detective made a mental note all of it as he searched for clues. Burnt clothes and the body, which is almost reduced to ashes, seemed to prove the police right.

But at the same time, the lightning was struck very precisely as if a person has targeted the lightning towards the victim.

Dr. Vishnu stood up. He scanned the floor. He saw the door. Then he smiled.

Seeing the famous detective smiling, the inspector came in and asked what he thought about the case.

"It is a murder. Planned and properly executed." replied Dr. Vishnu.

The inspector was shocked and was even more shocked when he saw when the detective instructed the fellow policemen to arrest the victim's wife. When the inspector asked the reason, the detective explained.

"Today 11 am, when the lightness struck Mr. Hanner, the weather was sunny. How would you expect a lightning to spring from the sky in a sunny day? And did you study grade 5 properly? If you did, you would know that light travels faster than sound. If that is the case, how Mrs. Hanner hear the thunder before seeing the lightning? Also, you expect a surprised wife to spill some tea when she sees her husband dying. Did you see any tea stains? This means that that someone created an artificial lightning to kill Mr. Hanner and that someone, I believe, is Mrs. Hanner."

The inspector was filled with wonder and admired the intelligence and the speed at which Dr. Vishnu solved the case.
