The Lesbian
She was famous for her attitude and dominating nature. Yes, she was adamant and extra protective for her single girl friend, everybody wanted to boycott her. She was all unaware that whatever she was hiding was published by her own friend whom she trusted more than herself. Her likes, dislikes were judged by the society, dividing in two columns where every member of the society has two caps; one for self protection and another to point out the finger. The human behavior indicates that mostly people love pointing on others and especially Indian society has a culture of hiding self and tearing other’s cloths as finding personal rights. The spicy chit chats were there that how did she get her satisfaction level.
She was also a spicy subject for everyone because this was a newly added different spice having different taste where a girl had interest only in girls but not in boys. The people especially boys who came to know about her from their girl friend’s mouth really wanted to peep her personal private parts that what was the fault or change inside. The height of curiosity reached its limit when she disclosed her likeness for girls in front of her husband and he found it as a disease without asking the reason behind. Her own girlfriend engaged with her for the sexual satisfaction left her after marrying with a boy saying she was sick and her father told this being a doctor. Till then she spend all her earnings on so called girl friend, fought with family and received only the scolding but stood up being a fair lover.
Now it was a time that cheated, depressed one met with Ganga. Ganga was not lesbian so when she came to know about such behavior in a girl, it became a subject of research and counseling for her. The story behind the curtain revealed a horrible truth that made Ganga Shivering and her follicles sweated a lot.
A man whom she was told as her Father, the most protective person found in the family being a man was the culprit of molestation and a rapist of her elder sister. Even she herself first time faced the awkward hands of that demon she was just five years old. At the same time her so called darling uncle a friend of her father took her in his arms and inserted fingers in her private parts kissing and saying a beautiful doll. She could not share such incidents openly with anyone. She started maintaining distance with her father and his fellow a
s much as possible, still she had to serve them with salads and other things while they both were sitting together for alcohol. Once while travelling by train she found that father was calling to come down by touching her breast and vagina now she was in the teen age. She shared all with her mother but was in vein. Why she did not believe and told her to shut her mouth, she never understood. The day also came when she found her maternal aunt in the intimate situation with her father while mother was locked in another room. Nobody took pain to raise voice against of father including her brothers.
She grew a little more and felt a new change of menstruation. Those were her special five days when suddenly so called loving uncle entered in her room and licked her cheeks putting one hand on the breast. Enough was enough she came screaming in the dining hall and told the whole story but uncle won the battle pretending himself as father and kissed her like a daughter. It was proved that she was just blaming. The hatred reached on its top when she was told by her sister that if she will open the mouth then nobody will support her.
She started staying out of the house while her father visited from her duty place and searching for true love but in females in spite of males of course security was the reason. Now she was a youth and family selected a well established man for her. At the first night she came to know while loving her husband was uttering the name of his girlfriend. She was cheated and wanted to kill that man who had no courage to reveal the truth in front of his parents and wanted the two birds; one in hand and another in the bushes. She woke up and asked the reality replying that she was ready to adjust with her husband’s girlfriend if he was honest and ready to bring her at home and stay together.
Next day her so called husband who was a man revealed within the society that she was an ill one, mentally and physically sick and of course a “Lesbian”. The Whole society neglected even better to say threw her out. Mother was still with her husband enjoying all the social circles, brothers got their own property, elder sister was happy within her family, and husband remarried happily, but she was thrown out and got punished for loving a girl being a girl. The question from her side is still pending scratching, scorching Ganga, who should be punished?
