I hate camping. I hate animals. I hate outdoor activities. This week, my mom is taking me to Sherwood Forest instead of Wonder World. Tents, sleeping bags, mosquitoes, animals, ugh. My friends and I planned to go there. But, now I am stuck camping instead of riding big roller coasters with loops.

I hate it.

I hate it.

I hate it

‘I DON’T WANNA GO. ‘I shouted down the stairs.

‘I am staying, right here, And NOT COMING’ I screamed to my parents

‘We can’t leave you here, alone, darling. You are too young. ‘My mother said, and grabbed my hand and pulled. Scared of falling, I walked down the stairs to her insistent pulling. I put up gloomy face until Sherwood Forest.

When we reached I didn’t help with carrying the stuff to our spot. Our dad had bought 3 small tents, enough to fit 2 people. We were a family of six. We took a spot by the lake and lit a campfire. I still sat gloomily, heating marshmallows. My little sisters started getting sleepy, so we were put to bed around the campfire, under the sky. My big brother was aspiring to be an astronomer. So he started naming all the constellations. I started getting bored, so I got to sleep fast.

I started dreaming about going to space and being the first human, teen and woman to reach the sun. I landed on the sun and felt a fire raging over me. I jumped up from my sleeping bag and what I dreamt was true, the fire was raging over me, but this time, it was the campfire. It had spread to the tent cloth. I started panicking. I pushed my brother to wake him up but he was sound asleep. I tried to call my mom and she didn’t seem to hear it at all. All I got to do was fetch water from the lake. But it was too risky, as the fire seemed to spread everywhere.

Suddenly, I stared seeing a large figure with big round eyes. I assumed that it was a bear. Oh, good a big large fire and a bear. My life is ruined. I still had to save my family. I took both of my little sisters using both my hands. I looked straight. The nylon burning was blinding my eyes. The only thing that was motivating me was saving my family. My eyes were getting droopy. I remember saying to myself only a little more. I laid my sisters down on the ground and ran back to save my brother. Then I fainted.

I opened my eyes and saw two curious eyes. It was a bear cub. I sat up. He knew that I was awake. The bear cub started licking me. I was disgusted at first but started feeling loved. He lied on my lap. When he stood up and ran. I saw his mother looking at me. I recognised the eyes. It was the eyes that I saw in the fire. I stood up. The bear gestured as if to follow her. I followed her to the den. I saw my parents and my brother in their sleeping bags, fast asleep. I saw my sisters on the corner of the den asleep. I knew that animals are not like humans. They might not have any type of common sense. But, they do not discriminate living beings like us. Animals are the best example of giving and returning. Everybody is the same no matter what happens.
