The Haunted Office

Once, there lived a man named Steve. He always had negative thoughts. His friend would often avoid talking to him as he always talked about ghosts, demon and stuff like that. Their parents hated this about Steve and they kept telling him to be positive , as it gives negative vibes to the whole place. It was time for Steve to search for a job, he went to several interviews but he got rejected in every interview. But luckily he got selected in one of the interviews. He was so happy and shared his happiness with his friends and family. It was his first day at work. Steve entered the parking lot and Parked the car. When he turned around he saw the security staring at him. He felt uncomfortable and continued walking towards the office. When he entered, he noticed that the walls were all black and the floor wasfor the boss meanwhile he saw a woman smile at him, he smiled back. He turned around and saw a giant man wearing a black coat, right beside him!

"Ahhh!"

"I'm Johnson, the boss of this company"

"O-oh hello sir"

"And you must be....."

"Steve, Steve Huston"

"Yeah yeah right. Now I'll tell you more about this office"

The boss took Steve to all the places in the office and told him more about it. After showing the office, the boss called all the people to introduce them to Steve. They all gathered and the boss introduced everybody. However Steve felt very uncomfortable as no one smiled or said anything, just stood still. But the woman he met before was smiling and looked like a normal person. Steve felt relieved when he saw the girl. The boss also didn't look that much happy, he just talked with a straight face to everyone.

"And this will be your seat!"

"Okay "

He sat on the chair and was looking at his place, the boss suddenly appeared in front of him and said,

"I need you to complete all these works for today"

Steve then started working. He felt like he was constantly being watched.

"I am a newbie, not a big deal" he told to himself.

Steve kept noticing abnormal stuff happening in the office, he thought of going to home early as he got a headache from all these stuff. A few minutes later the girl came to Steve and said,

"Oh hello Steve! Why do you look so sad?"

"It's just that....it's just I don't think everything is normal here..."

"Oh.... Don't worry, everything is alright, you're just feeling like this because it's your first day. Oh by the way I'm Kristy"

"I'm Steve, nice to meet you"

They resumed their work.

It was 5 pm. Everybody left the office. Steve had to work a little late. At 5:45 he packed his bags and was ready to leave when he saw Kristy still working...

"Oh Kristy, haven't you left yet?"

"no... we're stuck here"

"What do you mean Kristy?"

"We can't leave the office Steve..."

"But why? Everybody left"

"They're not like us..."

"K-Kristy I don't understand.. Wait I'll try to open the door."

Steve tried to open the door but the doors were tightly shut. He now understood what was happening..

"Wh-What? Then, am I stuck here forever too?"

" Yes (cries) I joined this office last month and I've been stuck here since then, I couldn't contact anyone, not even my parents."

"Ok don't cry, we can find a way to escape this place"

Then he searched the whole office to find a way to escape.

After hours of searching, he finally found a way near the cafeteria where he sees a small door. He opened the door and saw a small staircase which lead to the road. Steve jumped in joy! He screamed out to Kristy!

"KRISTY! I FOUND A WAY!!"

Kristy came running to Steve. Then they both were ready to escape but suddenly the way disappeared! Kristy and Steve were shocked, now they could only see the plain wall. Kristy started crying again, Steve calmed her down and said,

"Don't worry Kristy, I'll try and search for another way, I'll get you out of this place tonight"

Steve again started searching for a way, Kristy also joined him. Steve then got back to his seat to search, surprisingly he found a door behind the chair. He called out to Kristy and they both tried to open the door, but as they were trying, the door disappeared in front of their eyes. Steve was devastated, he lost hope. But he still doesn't give up! He got up and searched for a way again. This time Kristy found a way in the bathroom. They saw that there were 5 tiles together that made a door and the door lead to the road. This time they tried to escape as fast as they could, Steve couldn't do it anymore, he sat down on the floor and started crying...

"Why does this happen to us? (Sobs), Kristy, we have no other way, we have to kill the boss...."

"There's no need Steve, I already killed him way back

Steve slowly turned back and saw Kristy, her face looked very creepy..

"What's wrong Kristy?"

Then he noticed Kristy's legs were no longer on the floor, she was floating.

What's wrong is, YOU!

 You never knew I was the ghost all this time? And you never knew I killed all these people? I don't think you're smart enough to work HERE!
