The Guiding Light

Let go of the hand that holds your child and let him find the path.

I was a careful, protective mother, always shielding my child, did not let my child take his own decisions. I always thought it was more out of love, caring. Today, I let him go for the independence he wanted and, he wanted to go. I am praying that he chooses the correct path and finds the right company and, grows to be a mature person. He will walk towards his goal and, his journey will be remarkable.

My heart always beats for him. Each moment I am wondering, have fulfilled all my duties and responsibilities towards him?

My mind thinks of him when I prepare his favorite dishes and, I remember his face as he would come to wish me each morning and, we would have many discussions on various issues.

I trust in the power of God and, he is taking care of my child.
