"Mysteries never demand to be solved, they remain mysteries till they remain dominant in human minds as riddles that can never be solved….the unsolved riddles. But for me, it is we humans who make ordinary things mysterious. If we try to look at every issue from a different angle, new perimeters open and you find yourself nearing the climax."

The tall man with the long coat reaching below the knees completed his lecture giving a fine touch with a mysterious smile.

The lecture on the Detective course in the apartment on Gizem Road, 2nd bylane seemed more mysterious rather than informative.

"Neil don't you think, we selected the wrong person? He doesn't seem to excel in his works," whispered the boy with blue eyes to the one sitting near to him with a restless and impatient mind full of diverted concentration.

"Marco, keep quiet and stop gazing at the unknown lady though her exotic beauty is mesmerizing. Your short-tempered attitude may sometimes cost you much more than you can ever imagine. Try to note down everything which the man with a unique style of solving Riddles is trying to make us learn. These lectures are very precious and we are very lucky that Detective Samuel agreed to share a part of his vast crime investigation with us. Can't you see we're two girls too in our group? They seem much more attentive than you "

How time flowed Neil and Marco couldn't count. The session for that day ended and the two youngsters found their feet indirectly pulled toward the world of crimes that demanded justifiable justice.

"Manjari Kumaut, Stella Jhonson, I've checked the attendance sheet, they'll be with us in the sessions, but there is something different in Miss Leena, she doesn't look like a Pvt. Detective," spoke out Marco as they left the centre.

Meanwhile in Detective Samuel's chamber.

"Sir, I neither understood you nor attempted to, but this time your way of dealing with the adverse situations made me more perplexed. Sir, why does a perfect detective like you have to think of teaching someone the way you solved cases?

" Leena, Leena, my dear Leena I don't like the smell of Clary Sage, but I like always like the aromatic Jasmine," Detective Samuel took a deep breath and walked towards the chairs where a couple of hours ago Neil and Marco were sitting.

Leena a girl of exotic beauty and a source to bluff others always has been an assistant of Detective Samuel and acted as an ACE in most of his cases. Her exotic beauty acts as bait in most of Samuel's successful cases.

Neil and Marco continued their lessons planning to be a successful detectives in the future like Mr.Samuel. Their classes continued, from theory to practice. Leena assisted them with the use of some special chemicals which ranged from magic invisible ink to chloroform, from the use of life-saving drugs like 5-Fluorouracil to the use of instant life-taking fatal drugs such as cyanide. Making fake facial expressions, mastering accepting all emotions, and connecting with the world of crimes through specially posted spies was some of the special lessons covered by Leena the owner of enchanting beauty. But every story doesn't proceed the way readers expect. It suddenly shifts phase unexpectedly.

Leena was found dead in her apartment. The postmortem report stated a heart attack.

" Why don't you understand Mr Lyndoh, Leena was not just my trainer but also a good friend of mine. She was a very bold lady. As per my knowledge, she was well, fit and fine till yesterday. She took an active part in solving more than hundreds of crimes that even police couldn't trace and solve," as Marco was arguing with Inspector Mr Lyndoh, the investigator of the case, a sweet aroma caught his attention.

" Clary Sage! I've studied its effects in strengthening effect on the senses to ease negative moods. You've selected the right one Mr Lyndoh, your profession demands a sprinkle of this mystic aroma sometimes," Marco said as he spoke, his intelligence took him back to the first day of his journey in Detective Samuel's chamber.

" Leena, Leena, my dear Leena I don't like the smell of Clary Sage, but I like always like the aromatic Jasmine,"

"Hello, hello Mr Marco are you alright?" shouted Mr Lyndoh.

Marco came out of his momentary trance, shook his head, and gave a fake smile with a touch of perfection.

"Sorry Mr Lyndoh, maybe I was attached to Miss Leena more emotionally than professionally and so couldn't take her cessation normally. By the way, have you ever heard of cologne poisoning, an odd, really odd way to commit a perfect untraceable murder?" With the final words, Marco preferred to cut short his talk, signed some papers, and left the police station.

That night Marco had a very worst sleep. In the mid of the night, he suddenly got up from his bed. The whizzing sound of the crickets far away made his sleep more disturbed. A series of uncontrolled nostalgic remembrances of the time in Detective Samuel's chamber made his mind ill at ease. He took out a diary from a drawer and randomly turned the pages.

I didn't like the attitude of the girl with curly hair Manjari. She is sick. How can she warn me not to talk with Miss Leena? Manjari is an unknown character to me. I feel she doesn't have any interest in what we are learning in Detective Samuel's Chamber!

Neil, myself Marco, Manjari Kumaut, and Stella Jhonson appeared for the licensing exam, but only I and Stella qualified for the license. I don't know what went wrong with Neil and Manjari in the criminal background check that they qualify for the license.

" If you don't accept me, there are many ways of clearing the obstacle of our way. Remember Marco we are being taught and trained by the best professional detective of our time, Mr. Samuel. If a perfectionist commits a crime in a finely, systematically, and schematically preplanned manner, he can never be trapped and traced."

Turning the pages of his diary when he fell asleep, Marco couldn't count, but in his mind, he somehow couldn't accept that a dynamic Lady like Leena can die of a heart attack. If it is not the case then is Leena murdered? but why? once again Marco was trapped in a world of unsolved riddles.

It is said that crime can never escape from the eyes of the law.

"Mr.Neil is it true that you couldn't qualify for the professional detective license as you have a blurred criminal background? I heard that you excel in the practice of some specially banned medicines and were in jail for 6 months", Inspector Mr Lyndoh enquired as if he was reviewing an unsolved case.

Unaware of what was happening and why, Neil replied, " Sir I thought it was just a call from your side when you asked me to pay a visit to your place, but your words are confusing me."

With a smile put forcefully on their face, Mr Lyndoh

" Yesterday somebody called me and assure me to give some solid evidence enough to prove that Miss Leena didn't die of a heart attack, she was murdered."

It took no time for Neil to grasp why he was called to the police station.

" What relation do I've with this issue?" shouted Neil madly.

"Cool down Mr.Neil, cool. I think though you're not a licensed detective, your dominance in the field of banned medicines can help solve the case of Miss Leena. I'll let you know when the proper time comes, but in this case, the police force is helpless because we need clues which we lack in this case," with these words, Inspector Lyndoh cut short the communication and allowed Neil to leave.

The news of Leena's suspected murder spread like a wildfire among all the trainees of Gizem Road, 2nd bylane.

" I'm afraid Stella, though the eagle's eye is on all the trainees of our batch guided by Detective Samuel, they may still have a wrong rejoinder. They've taken Neil in custody although Mr.Lyndoh first let him go after a short discussion. We all will fall into the trap. Please help me, Stella. It's different that one day I acted very badly with Miss Leena, but do you think that one can murder her adversary for her lover whom she has known for just one month and loved for only fifteen days? "Manjari's words trembled as she spoke and she broke into tears.

" No, Manjari, no, don't cry. It's all over.

I learned that Strychnine was the cause of Leena's planned forceful cardiac arrest.

Do you know Strychnine is a white, odorless, bitter crystalline powder, a strong poison; only a small amount is needed to produce severe effects in people? It leaves no traces even in the postmortem. You'll be surprised if I say, Neil has a dominant knowledge of all these types of drugs; he too keeps some samples of all those banned medicines. I don't know why!

Manjari was astonished at what she heard, she became more astonished at the detailed information which Stella gave her about Neil.

" Do you mean, Neil murdered Leena? But Why?"

"My dear Manjari, all criminal doesn't need a motive for committing a crime. Sometimes the crime happens unknowingly and evidence makes him or her a criminal. Let us not bother about all these, but should be careful these days."

Stella's words seemed to perplex Manjari.

"But Stella, you told Neil is already in the police custody!" enquired Manjari surprisingly.

"Who knows, this time somebody else may be acting as bait as Miss Leena did in most of the solved cases of detective Samuel. So be careful Manjari. I don't know you personally but have a soft corner for you. I think Detective Samuel and the police force are all keeping an eye on us."

Both Manjari and Stella planned to continue their lessons at Detective Samuel's chamber the next day, as bunking the class may have an adverse effect and have a wrong impact on Detective Samuel and Inspector Lyndoh.

There is no beginning and end to a circular action. The more one tries to run away from an issue or an event the more he or she is pulled toward it. Detective Samuel's chamber, a destined Red Circle for the culmination of the Gizem Road murder mystery.

" Today we'll learn the use of this special gadget. I'm sorry to say that this was Leena's favorite and it was she who assisted the trainers with its use, but today she is no more with us. So you all have to bear my lecture once again. Though your course is over, I've called for you all to give this protective gadget." Saying so, Detective Samuel handed over a pen to each of Manjari, Stella, and Marco.

"Write your names on the blank space of the pen and then return the pens to me. I'll then activate the sensors and tomorrow you'll know how it works." The talk continued and everybody forgot about Leena and Neil. They took the case as solved and became busy with the practicals. Nobody sensed the disappearance of Detective Samuel from the room.

Suddenly Inspector Lyndoh and some female police constables entered Detective Samuel's chamber. Before anybody could guess what was happening, two of the lady Constable got hold of Manjari and put on the handcuffs.

"You are under arrest Miss Manjari." They dragged Manjari straight to the police jeep.

Everybody stood dumbstruck and couldn't count why the police took Manjari in custody. But the riddle didn't remain a riddle as Detective Samuel came out of his room and chose to raise the curtain of the case.

" I was prepared for this and it was I who planned the squad planning and it worked.

I have been in this profession for the last eighteen years. I can study human minds. Though the police held Neil captive, I was sure Neil wasn't the culprit after I talked with him. We started the plan and started keeping an eye on all the suspects. Neil helped me in this regard as for everybody he was in jail, but he was not.

Strychnine, a white, odorless, bitter crystalline powder, a strong poison was the cause of Leena's death. A bottle of the sample was found below her bed. Though it won't leave any traces in the postmortem, its recovery under her bed made the case crystal clear. Once again a victim lost her life falling into the claws of a love triangle.

Marco was in love with Leena, and Manjari was in love with Marco. Manjari was a patient of schizophrenia and couldn't bear Macro's longings for Leena. She made a fake friendly relationship with Neil and one day went to his room. She passed that night with Neil, but her motive was not good, she collected all the information about the banned intractable medicines from Neil and managed to steal a bottle of Strychnine. Her fingerprints on the pen and the bottle recovered from Leena's room matched each other. I've done my work, but I'll have to undergo a tough seeing to see Manjari in a mental asylum. I can forsee the future."
