The Flowers From The Moon

A prince of the mountains greatly desired to travel to the moon. Finally, his dream came true. On reaching the moon, he found that its gentle glow came from the lovely daughter of the moon king. The two fell in love, but as they belonged to very different worlds, they could not marry. When the prince left, the moon king's daughter gifted him one of soft, lovely flowers, spreading on the moon's surface like snow, to remember her by. This was how the earth got its first alpine flower.
