The Ever-Happy Periwinkle !

Dear Diary,

I have now got the time & started to throw glad glances on the potted plants in my balcony. Looking eagerly for new buds to bloom & counting the hibiscus flowers blushing with the heat. The periwinkle flowers are jostling with each other to bloom as quickly as they can. They are opening up in clusters & looking so very pleasant & lively & seem to be nodding in gay abandon. There are various shades of pink, lavender, & light purple. Flowers make our life so happy. We need to learn from this wonderful flower which is seen cheerfully swinging the whole year through.
