Ganpati Bappa Moraya !

Dear Diary,

Today is “Chaturthi” and its Ganpati Bappa’s special day. People generally fast on this day but fasting is no longer my cup of tea. I eat apples or chikoos , “sabudana khichadi” plus other lunch-time eats. He is the one who gives everything and who also takes it away, probably so that we understand the value of what he has generously given. My life, words and actions are dedicated to this friendly God who helps all his devotees without any favour. He is one of my favourite Gods as he never lets me down. In the evening, I chanted ‘Atharvasheersha’ and have asked for his blessings which we all badly need now as everyone wants to come out of these unhappy times.
