The divine friendship

That was 8th December 2019. The campus of Utkal University was beautifully decorated for Platinum jublie celebration. Its range was fully crowded. New and old students, professors, lecturers, MPs, MLAs, invited guests and security personnel were coming for the celebration. Gradually the invited guests come and take their seats. The chief guest is the country's top citizen or president. Everyone was very excited to see him and his enlightenment. At that moment, an invited guest entered. He was an old student at the university. He wanted to see the president and give him a rose. He spoke to security forces, but they denied by saying it's not possible. So he did not force them and go to his place and sit down. Shortly afterward, the chief guest arrived. The meeting began. The invited guest, who wanted to meet the president, sat in the second row. So the chief guest could see him very well. The president's gaze was often on the guest. He seemed to know him well. The meeting was ongoing. The president's eyes were on him and he was still in his memory.

 After focusing on his brain for a while and the white turban of the guest helped him remember everything. The guest was his best friend once upon a time. Their last meet was thirteen years ago. Both were

members of the Rajya Sabha. One was elected to the Rajya Sabha from Uttar Pradesh and the other from Odisha.

Both were working in the same Department of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Welfare. While working in the same department, there was a very good friendship in between them. At the time, the chief guest was taking his friend's advice seriously and seeking his advice. They have not been connected since 2008. But his usual white turban reminded him everything. He was waiting for the end of the meeting. As the meeting ended, the chief guest spoke to a nearby minister. The minister immediately announced that the invited guest's name and said the president wanted to meet with him. Hearing this, the guest was overjoyed. He went and met the President. The president was also so happy to see his friends after a long time. He embraced the guest.  

The audience was stunned to see their friendship. In today's world there is a lot of discrimination between the rich and the poor. The one who went up could no longer recognize the people below. Children are forgetting their parents' sacrifices. People even kill their own people for their sake. Their friendship at the time set an example for the society. They have proved that true friendship does not have the place for the high and low, the rich and the poor. 

The two friends are none other than our esteemed President Ramnath Kobind and Birbhadra Singh of Odisha. The friendship of those set example for our society. In my opinion, Ramnath Kobind is as greater as Krishna. Because when Sudama came to him to show his condition krishna welcomed him. Like him Ramnath Kobind, the country's top official, recognized his friend and welcomed him. There was no pride or arrogance in his mind about the position. It was the friendship where one understood the other's language of heart. This is really we can say divine friendship.
