The cycle of life

Change is the only constant,

Just like the change of missing teeth to missing assignments,

Change of sharing sweets to emotional vents,

Change of a straight-highway life to accidental-prone bends.

For some it became better by each passing second,

For some outcomes must have not been favourable,

Some found talking to parents an errand,

As few sat to eat alone at the dinner table.

Priorities changed as the human body evolved,

For some tapping on a screen became a usual,

While for some seeing their parents happy wasn't a visual,

Some shot pixels for fun while others hated the bullet lying in their loved ones skull.

Hating on the past while not working in the present has become a ritual,

Future was never a concern for some while others fought their way through,

But for some, the future is all around which their birth revolved,

Is this what the ancestors wanted, or has the human race devolved?
