The Crooked Tree

Once in a forest, there was a crooked tree. Its branches were odd-shaped. There were many other trees around it, they were straight and shaped. The crooked tree looked at them and said, "how fine and beautiful they are and how unlucky I am because I have no beauty like other trees".

One day a woodcutter came to the forest for collecting wood for selling wood in the market. He first went to the crooked tree and said, "how ugly and the crooked tree it is, it's useless for me because no one will buy this odd shaped wood ".He selected the rest of the straight and fine trees to cut and started to cut them.

While looking this the crooked tree said to itself,"even if I am ugly this woodcutter did not cut me. How lucky I am". After that day, the crooked tree never felt sad for its ugliness. Its ugliness had saved it from the ax of the woodcutter.
