The day of the Amazon has come to stay. No longer hidden away the humans will soon know that they share the earth with the heirs of God's graces Yes, while favored with legendary might.Their insight one might say lately is short of sight. So the one chosen to lead by ancient prophecy of olde named Lyn will do her best to unite this matriarchy with enlightened ways to usher in a new day

Meanwhile, back in the Amazon Lyn tends to mend the broken ties amidst her kind. After being so maligned towards humankind She knows hatred is not the way to lead her people into the modern-day. She decides to seek advice from their Mage named May who was the one that swayed Amazon senate with Lyn's tenet from imminent death no less She is found sitting aside an anatomy divide of a predator known in English tongue among humankind as a puma

Rip, Lyn's intrepid saber cat saw it as an attack and immediately stepped back thinking he might be next as he cowarded back against the slats of the door

May: "Lol!" "Don't worry Rip we would never stop your line you are too rare a kind." "This one had an undone from a human handgun." "Which reminds me I still need to study Rip's claws to see how he mauled Cyn like they were made from obsidian."

"I've read ancient legends of his kind going toe to toe with Amazon defensive line." "Apparently, they actually kept us contained in those days behind the borderline." "Many Amazons lost their lives fighting their kind." "Large streaks of Saber Cats would hide and wait in jungle substrate for any Amazon to set foot past the main gate." "But just how a creature with such powerful features thought extinct betides to your side I'd be denied a reply till Rip takes to speak." "I shall seek more insight from the archives tonight."

Rip: "((ROAR!))"

Rip then emits such a loud roar May's sleeping pet owl falls off its perch from such an emergence It hurriedly flies directly into a wall just to prevent entrance into a saber cat's jaws

Lyn: "Well, there's your reply." "Ha ha ha."

May reaches for her now injured screech then relates "No need to be frightened Triton." "Rip is a friend unless you get on his bad end."

Lyn: "Anyway, I came for your advice." "About how to unite the Amazon divide."

May: "Ah yes, the human hate debate."

"Hatred is created by ones of inflated ego." "The corrupt who wish to induct younger ones into their undone." "So they can conduct their errored ways and have them take the blame."

"A child never hates, it has no relation." "It must be taught and wrought into their psyche." "Do you remember Colonel Die?"

Lyn: "Yes, of course, I would never forget the taker of mother's fate."

May: "Do you know how she got that way?"

Lyn: "No"

May: "Over two thousand years ago in their youth, her and Ivy had a row to see who would be the next to lead. Queen Mai, at that time, was unable to sire an aire to the throne to which she was bestowed So she set forth a test to weed out the best candidate before death at her behest

The first was a test of mind, to see who was able to find the legendary dragon's eye. A gem concealed away by a prophecy that it is said one day will usher in a new Amazon day. The location was hidden away in the ancient texts and Ivy was the only one keen enough to decrypt it from an ancient Aramaic transcript

But when she left to obtain the jewel of Amazon reign Die didn't abstain from cheating Ever Ivy's bain she knew no deign and followed her path to attain the jewel fueled by hate from her parent's mistakes They warped her mind and filled it with lies about how their family line was divine and had a right to rule with the eye So, Die was intent without relent to take it once Ivy had it in hand

The ancient moon scrolls foretold that the dragon's eye would burn the unworthy who desire to acquire its fire When Die attempted to steal it after Ivy's ordeal it immediately burned her hand notwithstanding the lies Die was told about her family line

Lyn: "Is that why Die always had her hand shoved into that iron glove?"

May: "Yes" "Ivy, was the only one spun from the right line To come without undone from the jewels ire of intense fire Not a burn did she earn when she touched the dragons eye

She later did confide in me secretly on the side that the piece that sits in the crown right now is only a shard from a much bigger part that still exists sitting hidden far away to the East

Lyn: "Both Jack and I have touched the gem in which you mention that resides in the crown without burn nor any concern."

May: "It is my belief it is the blood from which you all were conceived that gives you a reprieve from the burn without any concern One might say it was meant to be this way

Lyn: "So the flow within my veins must be the same as Jack's that tames the flame?" "Hmm, interesting."

May: "Without further insight of your blood types it would be a sound theory to query."

Lyn: " Please go on I want to hear more of Die's outcome."

May: Well, it was also to my understanding that Mai had taught Ivy an ancient form of martial arts One that pushes back any attack at the one intending harm

Well, Die being twice her size surely tried to outake her but had no fair shake with the combos Ivy would make Though they were only 12 years of age at the time Ivy's prowess and skill was still sublime In a fight your mother could hold her own against any foe

They dubbed her a nickname "Poison Ivy" because of the painful marks she left on those who dared impart their will one with such skill

Lyn: "Mother schooled me all she knew of her jeet kune do She enrolled me at only six years of age despite the Mage's dismay I took to it right away

May: "Well, Ivy defeating her numerous tries along with her parent's lies made Die hate instead of relate like the rest. Ivy rightfully passed Mai's tests and was the best to lead in her stead Common sense left Die's mind it was the hate that made her so blind

Lyn: "Thank you for this insight." "You helped shed light on a way I can defend humanity from Amazon hate." "Come Rip let's go."

They both turn to see Rip licking May's geode and she states "Would you mind leaving him behind so I can study his kind?"

Lyn: "I don't think he would mind"

May then spies her crystals on display to her dismay they are scarred Small shards are gone from Rips incessant licking

May: "Oh my!" "How can this be?" "Do my eyes deceive me?" "You just took in solid quartz from its source!" "Lyn, give me a hand I want to see the glands on his tongue."

Lyn gently holds and consoles Rip while May holds more quartz up to his nose and states "lick away!" Under magnified illuminated sight glass she shouts with delight "That's amazing it has thousands of specialized barbs that are sharp enough to hone out stone." "You indeed are astounding to behold." "But now it makes sense how his kind could segment an Amazon defensive line in almost no time

Lyn: " What do you mean?"

May gently picks up his massive paw and exposes his claws "Look here, peer into the magnified glass and you see the crystalline design the Gods were so inclined to assign to his feline kind." "His tongue draws it in then stores it in his teeth and claws."

Lyn sees his claw in its magnified state then relates "Amazing!" "The beauty of the God's design a feline with crystalline incline tis' a living shrine to his kind."

May: "I abide the Gods have assigned a living weapon against Amazons to your side."

Lyn: "He is very protective, anyone with the objective to harm he transforms into snarling beast threatening to feast if they give at least indication to increase into my path then he will ensure they will breathe their last if they cross his scathe."

May: "Rest assured, I plan not to disturb his kind of peace of mind." "Ha ha ha."

Meanwhile, deep in Eastern mountains keep escaped Amazon prisoners sweep over an ancient map that had them press into a quest they weren't ready to wrest Though their zest for power could not be jest They weren't blessed with easy interpret of ancient texts So they sit and debate over their next direction to take

Major Cyn still recently deformed from a run-in with Lyn's saber cats' claws sits on a log attempting to jog her memory for centuries-old text while yelling at her cohorts named Hex and Min She is infuriated with the way they have been traveling in circles every day and still no closer to stray in the path of a jewel dubbed the dragon's eye

Hex, a student of the black arts of witchcraft insists that they craft a spell spawn from hell to tell them the way without further stray She was recently imprisoned for a scheme of cursing a public drinking stream to turn anyone who drank from it into her zombie slave but Ivy gave her just do for her attempted coup and had her powers stripped by destroying her magical equip

Min, a religious zealot always willing to tell it the way she wants it to beholds no bounds during this sit down There is never any gray area when she wants her way

Formerly imprisoned for her decision to incite riots against the Amazon throne she won't be taken down or easily owned She imparts to her cohorts a scheme to team up and steal one that can help make sense of the archaic Aramaic map they hold

Min: "Why don't we just take one gifted with interpretation by force and make them endorse our map of course?"

Cyn: "But where is a hostage with the knowledge of ancient texts?" "Lest they be perplexed and then, useless for our quest."

Hex: "Why the Mages of course they would be the best source to force for help." "Their senior named May would be the best bet to take and make her break the code the map withholds."

Cyn: "May, grrrr!" "She owes me, I am in pain every day from her botched surgical procedure." "I'd rather beat her within an inch of her life for my anguish and rife." "Though Hex has a point May is the lead if we proceed she is most likely the one with the interpretation of such ancient script."

Min: "May is a lacky of the throne she is owned by Lyn or whoever sits therein." "She won't help if she felt it would betray in any way."

Cyn: "In my brief stint as Arbitress I came across a list of Amazons who resist against human coexist and May's name was one displayed prominently for me to see." "She is two-faced when pressed to vote on human encroach she didn't stay on Ivy's side to abide her tidings of human approach." "A devil in disguise is far worse than one in front of your eyes."

"At least with you two I know where I stand no illusion is at hand." "I don't trust your sort despite being former prison cohorts." "But to be blunt at least I know upfront you would betray me without stay if events turned your way."

Hex: "Ha ha ha!"

Min: "Humpf"

Hex: "Let's at least make a deal to steal the gem then we can go on our own ways to bide the God's decide for our future lives."

Cyn: "Agreed"

Min: "I approve just to get the jewel."

Hex holds out her hand to fashion a truce but little did the others know it would be a noose for she dwelled up a spell to bind the two until they found this jewel of fire the eye of her desire

Once their hands touched a magical glow did briefly show to seal the deal with the devil she did steal their free will to betray her once the gem was gained Unbeknownst to them now this would almost guarantee her reign when the jewel is gained

Cyn: "Did you see that?" "My hand glowed just before I took it back."

Hex: "Probably just the sun casting shadows before it's done."

Min: "My hand tingled when we intermingled." "Hex!" "If you pulled some sort of vex I will make sure you will be giving Ivy tidings from the afterlife she is abiding."

Hex: "Just as Cyn said no trust for us sort don't contort my part I'm just trying to unite us as sisters besides, we are allies please abstain until we attain the gem."

Cyn: "I remember when you were first incarcerated and fated if memory serves me right twenty-three lives that night to the afterlife." "There was no fight no fair shake for those you did make into zombie slaves." "So why should I trust you now that you claim to relent and disavow any malicious intent?" "No I think not, you got my eyes fixed on you my so-called alli to prevent your further play to sway the jewel your way."

Min: "She has a point if we are taking score your track record is more filled with death and distrust in your midst." "Any assist from you I would just deny cause I do not trust you further than I could make you fly." "I've never directly killed another soul." "During the riots, I dole against the throne two were trampled to death but lest you see that was done quite indirect."

Hex: "My, my, my." "Why would you taint our truce?" "You hang me on but a noose with no excuse." "Well, well, well." "Tis' a shame but our aim must not be strained." "We should head back to keep on track if we are to snatch May and get her to show our way."

So, our trio decidedly forego unity, and despite their inability to unite they made their way through the jungle foray several days later back home roaming late at night hidden away from sight deep in the archives they did skulk and hide waiting for Mage May to proceed with her nightly read

Cyn hidden in a nook covered by centuries-old books sees her come in and gives the signal for the others to snare her without noise so she can't give voice for help when they restrain her from possible attain of freedom

Hex, brandishing an obsidian blade won't be swayed when she has May in her aim Her desire for the gem is one of obsession so she would kill without question if needed to proceed her incessant need

Min sneaks up on May from behind and binds her hands near her posterior Hex hears her about to scream and the team inserts a leather strap to keep her jaws clapped Now that Cyn sees that she is restrained she takes a flying leap into the air and kicks May out of her place face-first into a stout wooden case Her body now replacing the books that were contained within as they envelop her form but now it looks as if she is quite harmed

Hex and Min are suddenly shocked at this twist of plot but from the look on Cyn's face she intended this from the first place the hatred marks now furrowed on her brow leaving them to question is May being taken down

A crimson-red now comes rushing from May's head The trio are aghast to see an Amazon harmed from just a single cast

Cyn: "BITCH!" "What is this?" "I know you near past your three-thousandth year of life but to bow to just one cast this does not fit for an Amazon to amass."

May: "Cyn you cretin!" "I have a condition known to none the one called cancer."

Hex and Min step back aghast at what they hear about May's disease. Now afraid to breathe recalling the bequeath of last year's malaria outbreak They flake on their partake and want no part of what they already started

Cyn: "What is this cancer that you speak that wreaks you weak to assault from but a simple vault?"

May: "Good Gods how you were once lauded as a leader in our society but lack the most basic knowledge or fact." "Cancer is an excessive growth of cells that attack the body back."

Cyn: "How does one of Amazon line become maligned with undone from human contagion?"

May: "So you think you are immortal and you will never die?" "Amazons rarely live past four thousand years of life." "What is taught in school to our younger ones is just drool from the ancient text of how in the Gods we represent their power sent to earth but our Achilles heel is we still have DNA." "It eventually breaks down no different than the humans endowed with much shorter life but it would suffice you to make allowance for the strife you have caused breaking the Gods laws Tartarus will eventually make its call

Cyn: "Who are you to judge when you begrudge the throne you represent with your malcontent." "For the past five years, you betrayed the crown with your voting taking down a unite with humanity in sight."

May: "Cyn, you are the perfect one to show the reason I voted against unity with your lunacy." "It isn't just humans that are deeply flawed." "It's the Amazons that I also called out to show they can make right within their own lives." "I still await for a day when the Amazons can stay out of splaying each other every which way when but a simple insult comes their way."

Cyn: "Get off your high horse for I do not endorse your course." "Your botched surgery for my notched face leaves me in pain every day."

May: "It is not I, that pissed off a mythical beast at least let me look at your wounds." "I have recently found the compounds within Rip that sit within his claws that may be preventing it from mending."

Cyn: "No, you vile hag I would rather drag on with the pain than to allow you make another attempt to misrepresent a Mage our healer of the ages."

May: "Fine, have it your way." "Your maim and pain are yours to blame." "Do your worst lest I care my time's end already impends." "It would only be replaced by a quicker passing into the everlasting."

Our trio soon realize to threaten May is not going to go their way Already knocking on death's door she could care less nor would beg for her life anymore

Hex, instantly regretted her methods when she was vetted into May's fretted disease She looks down at the books that were knocked astray every which way from her flight and spied a light She eyes a familiar sign aligned on the cover of a book These were the ones that Ivy took after her zombies shook the city

She finds her book of spells and turns to one that will summon a demonic guide to abide by their side contrived from the pits of hell there would be none better suited to loot the eye Hex grabs the map from Cyn then tosses it into the air only to be engulfed in a green flame to aim her generate the right way Then she recites very loud the spell to quell their irresolute situation

~With the sacrifice of this map I entice Hell's devices to lend an assist to kiss our quest with its fiery breath. Guide us to the dragon's eye it is this that we desire to supplant our soul's power to be able to hold it in our hands without delay show us the way.~

Then it appears a black humanoid mist it wisps around the room and emits an ear-piercing screech Everyone holds hands over ears as they spy something of their utter fright that takes abide at Hex's side

Its glowing red eyes defied belief This demonic motif made any courage immediately leave it gave them chills as they stared at what just appeared out of thin air

Then it gestures hither with its hand for the band to understand it will guide them to the jewel It flies into the air and exits out the window

Hex grabs her book no rook to seeing what the black arts imparts and runs out devout to find the eye Cyn and Min give each other a blank stare and dare to follow suit determined not to let Hex have her way before they have a say

May finds her footing though her injuries are quite off-putting She runs to find a sentry at the archive entry and tells him to sound the alarm that escaped prisoners are at large
