THAT RAINY DAY

 A young woman stood alone on the roadside, patiently waiting for her bus to arrive. Suddenly, a heavy downpour began, causing delays in all forms of transportation. Determined to find a way home, she mustered up the courage to ask strangers for a lift. However, due to the fear surrounding the Covid-19 virus in 2021, no one was willing to offer her a ride. Undeterred, she decided to put on a mask and make her request once more. After hours of waiting, a car finally pulled over and she gratefully climbed inside. As she settled into the backseat, she began talking to her belly, indicating that she was pregnant. With each kick from her unborn child, she felt a deep connection and began telling a story.

Her tale began with a young girl named Barsha, who was full of life. It was March 24th, 2020, and Barsha and her partner, Vivek, were eagerly anticipating their wedding on March 28th. However, due to the sudden announcement of a lockdown in India, both families agreed to postpone the ceremony. Days turned into weeks, and amidst this uncertainty, Barsha realized that she had missed her periods. Taking a pregnancy test, she discovered that she was indeed pregnant.

She immediately informed Vivek about the situation, seeking his advice. Unfortunately, Vivek suggested that she should abort the child without informing anyone. However, Barsha's body was not suitable for such a procedure. As a result, Vivek's family broke off the marriage with her. Feeling devastated and alone, Barsha confided in her own family, explaining that she did not 

know who the father of the child was. Instead of receiving support and understanding, she was met with bullying and humiliation. Overwhelmed by the pain and shame, Barsha could no longer bear it and tragically took her own life.

The story now shifted back to the present, it was revealed that the lady in the backseat of the car was none other than Barsha and the person driving the car was none other than Abhi, Barsha's ex-boyfriend. Abhi's actions two weeks before the lockdown were irresponsible and he took advantage of Barsha's vulnerable state. During a drunken encounter at a Holi party, Abhi had unprotected sex with Barsha, which resulted in her becoming pregnant. Now Barsha's spirit had returned to Seek her revenge from Abhi...
