Sunday Outing To Cubbon Park

One fine Sunday, me, my husband and my son decided to go to Cubbon Park in Bangalore. It was an on the spot decision on a bright Sunday afternoon to spend time outside on a beautiful day.

We drove down to Cubbon park, parked our car and went near a small hill there. It was a small amount of rock which invited both the young and old to try their climbing skills. My son about 7 years old and we the middle-age mom and dad tried our skills at climbing first from the easier side and then from the tougher side. It was a lot of fun to climb up, sit on top and see who could do it better.

Nothing amazing about this situation as it was a normal Sunday with other parents with kids, couples strolling about hand in hand and youngsters enjoying their freedom in nature to run around aimlessly. If you think a bit deeper though you realize that this green piece of land in the middle of a buzzing city like Bangalore is God-given.

The time you spend together there with your family with good a good oxygen supply to keep your lungs happy are things we are in short supply these days.

The best part of this day was that all of us were away from our laptops and phones and enjoyed being together. I consider this as the best moment as it left us refreshed and happy to start our routine from Monday.

Planning to do more of these outings together whenever the weather is fine and we can leave all our work and enjoy time together.
