Sudha Murthy - My  Inspiration

Inspiration is a feeling of enthusiasm, you get from someone that gives new sights and vibrant direction. Inspiration awakens us to new possibilities by allowing us to transcend our ordinary experience and limitation. As I like reading I spend most of the free time in libraries. One fine day I just came across Sudha Murti’s wise or otherwise book. After reading some initial stuff only it touched my heart and I was like impatient to finish the book. I finished it within no time and was in hurry to finish rest of the Sudha Murti’s book from the libraries. I did it in a flash. I was very curious to know about her after reading her books. I got fare idea about soft and empathic heart of the author. Out of my inquisitiveness, I search, collected and read lots of information about her. I found she was a gold medalist from IIT for having first rank in M Tech for all branches of engineering also she got Padmastri award from the former president Dr APJ Abdul kalam. There is a big list of various prestigious award in education  and social sector. I was amazed by reading this and I got more inclined to read more about her. Then I read everything about her early life, education, carrier, awards, personal life and social activities. Everywhere I see very impressive did.

She is  doing so many things for society. I felt in love about her social work and empathy towards needy people. Through Infosys foundation she built thousands of houses in flood affected area. She worked in healthcare, education, empowerment of women, Public hygiene, art and culture, poverty alleviation at grassroots level. Her vision of library for each school has resulted in setting up of 70,000 libraries so far.

After reading all I thought that in spite of such prestigious title (Founder and Owner 

Infosys), being so wealthy, How can she have such simplicity? This has given deep insight to me. This made me think about the power of simplicity. Three thousand stitches, something happen on the way to heaven, Wise or otherwise, The day I stopped drinking milk, Stories of grandma, The old man and his god all these books imparted life’s lesson. The bundle of knowledge and wisdom really made strong foundation for my thought process. I feel very fortunate to come across such wonderful book and esteem personality which has power to influence my though at every point of my life and to keep me simple, social and satisfied human being.
