Strange Men, Strange Land

I am a Space Man, an Astronaut on a mission .Somewhere after the rocket was launched,I recalled , everything started off perfectly .But after a while the beeps of warning systems started and before I could realise the controls were slipping away and I had to somehow eject .I did and after that did'nt know what happened .

          I just opened my eyes and to my surprise I realized I was awake and kicking about .Managed to move in search of some habitation.Suddenly I was confronted by Men alright ,,,but looking different in a sense .More on the lines of stone age men or men belonging to Capios race. They looked more like the Bushman with distinctive features .They were looking at me as if I was an Alien ... advancing towards them .  So they were hesitant to come too near me. They had fire torches .            I looked around .Couldn't find a single soul and the terrain was also strange in colour and form .

The mountain ridges were of a different colour ,the grass was a peculiar hue ,the ground too was feeling weird .They spoke a very funny language and there was no way I could communicate with them. Their looks were scary and threatning and their walk was also menacing .They kept staring at me and I stood stuck to my ground out of fear and hostility .

        Anticipating danger ,but keeping my cool ,I looked up to the skies with folded hands and prayed for freedom . Somewhere this gesture seemed to have acceptance and they too followed suit .I mustered up some courage and gesticulated with my hands and mouth ,but everything fell on deaf years and blind eyes .

Slowly the sky started changing hues , Sun had set and darkness enveloped the entire area There was a creepy feeling ,nasty smell and strange sounds all around ,. I was still, trying ways to escape when my morning alarm cried loudly.I snoozed it and woke up with a jolt, sweating profusely, looking around for the same bushmen. 

Then reality hit me and was glad that all this was a dream ,so vivid, and I was very much up on my bed ,in my home ,in my homeland .Thank God I sighed and then had a good laugh at my Bushmen and Astronaut escapade .
