Scars & Tears

I never expected this. Megha sat on the chair.

Why? There is nothing wrong with it. Kalpana said.

Mom! Don't be stupid. Why would anyone like Grandpa give a share in his properties to a Hospital? Megha questioned her mom.

What's wrong with it? Kalpana said.

It's not a question of wrong & right. It never appeared to me that Grandpa is interested in charity. Megha said while brushing her hair.

Or, he never showed it in front of us. Kalpana took his father's s old journal from the shelf.

" I miss my daughter so much in those days. The time was darker, days were filled with pain.

When her treatment was completed, I took an oath to give back to society. 

In every rupee i earn, there is a purpose attached to it. Along with my family, the hospital will have the right to use it."

Kalpana understood how deeply her father wanted to express gratitude. She remembered her recovery from suffering illness in childhood.

Some people know that in life scars might be there. But you can use the tears to work hard to make the scars meaningful.

She gave a journal to Megha.
