"Sayli hurry up; we are going to meet Sunny." Amar said to Sayli while he hardly reached to their regular collage katta.

Today is the first day after a long 15 days holiday where all of them were meeting at their college katta. The gossip was still alive about the absence of Amar and Sunny and Amar land in asking Sayli to accompany him to Sunny's place to meet him. 

"But whats the matter? Anything wrong?" everyone almost screamed.

"The news is shocking guys. Sunny has lost…. Lost his memory. ‘Amnesia'." said Amar.

"But he was perfectly fine. I met him before Diwali. Exactly what has happened?" Madhu was so curious. 

What? Before Diwali? Asked Amar.

"Yes. Me, Sayli and Sunny were together on the last day of college. Then I went ahead to home and He and Sayli proceeds for their. Madhu ended with the information.

So Amar concluded with the thought "that means last one who saw Sunny normal is Sayli."

"Can you tell me what happened exactly?" Sayli busted on Amar.

"Sayli what was the topic you and him had on a last meeting" Amar to Sayli.

Tense for a minute, then whispered, "not so special. Just mentioned about his visit to village during holiday."

His family is saying they were all set to depart to town on the last day of the college. Sunny was little upset that day. We thought it must be because he will miss his friends so it was casual for us. He directly hit the bed and went under the quilt. He slept for a long time than always. So his mum went to wake him up. She called him.

"hey Sunny baby, come on get up. What about your lunch? You are sleeping since you are back from college."  

Sunny took off his quilt from his face.

"Who are you?" he asked this to his own mom who was there exactly front of him.

"What!" she freez at him with open mouth.

"Are you fully awake Sunny? Its your mom answering you who am I to you?" she said angrily.

Still Sunny was looking like at unknown Face.

They end up with doctor's visit to their home. Generally Sunny would have called him an uncle because the doctor is his father's friend. But even he was unknown to Sunny.

Doctor asked everyone to move out of the room and diagnosed Sunny alone. He resulted with Sunny's amnesia. He suggested to his family that to get Sunny back to normal you have to make him visit his closed and loved ones. May be he will recover with any previous references. I will be visiting often to check Sunny.

They have invited many people for sunny to reconnect with any references, but it didn't work. I visited his place before college. His mom asked about Sayli.  

I said, "She is one of our friends in a group. What it is about?"

Then she explained the whole drama and said that sunny mentioned about this name sometime. Please you take her here immediately. Let's try for her."

I am straight here. Sayai hurry up, we should move.

They told everyone to inform principle about sunny's absence and they moved.

Sayli was shocked about sunny. It was beyond her imagination.

Sayli was out of the gate with her notebook and purse with Amar. 

She was worrying about Sunny now. She started realizing that even she is in love with him. She was dying to meet Sunny.

That was the last day of college. Madhu turn to her place. Sunny and Sayli; both were together. At one spot Sunny asked Sayli to wait for a moment. And propose her.

The village visit was planned to fix his marriage this time. After completing an exam he was supposed to tie a knot this year. He wanted to know about Sayli. He intended to marry Sayli but he would have been helpless after engagement. He was in love with Sayli at first sight on the first day of college. But Sayli was not ready to answer so quickly. Both of them were from different on financial classes. He was the only son of a successful businessman and she was from the middle class background studying on a scholarship. Beautiful, sober, classed attire, yet intelligent were the reasons for Sunny to love Sayli so much. He thought Sayli could have been a better option than any other high classed infested bitch. He was so confident about Sayli for understanding him and vice versa.

But she moved ahead without answering him, said "good bye for now Sunny, I am getting late. We will meet after the holidays." She left Sunny at his gate of a bungalow.   

She was curious to know about next turn. Everyone was here after a long holiday but her eyes were looking out for a Sunny. And Amar handed her this shocking news. "It's me, it's my fault that sunny is in this Emotional trauma." She was so sure about this but kept this secret zipped.

They both reached at Sunny's place hurriedly. Sunny was in his bedroom.

Looking at them Sunny's mom confirmed about Sayli, "Are you a Sayli?"

"Yes aunty. "How's Sunny now?"

"He is the same dear. Doctor said he is under some coercive emotional trauma. He has to get over that trauma to get well."

"But did anything happen after he reached home?"

"Nothing. Nothing has happened. So that I called you to know anything you might know."

"No aunty even I don't remember anything has happened. Can I see him?

"Please, meet him. Now you guys are the hope to witness any miracle. If you all could spare some time to meet him and spend with him there are possibilities to get him normal."

"Yes aunty sure. Anyways, I stay nearby. It's absolutely possible for me to visit Sunny before college hours and after college hours."

After that, as Sunny's mom asked them to visit sunny in bedroom one by one. Sunny remained same when Amar visited, but there was some minor movement in his left hand when Sayali was with him.

Sunny's mom pledged to Sayli to visit daily to Sunny and talk to him on some old memories of college days.

Sayli agreed in the note that she could do something for her friend. Amar and Sayli see off Sunny's mom after nice brunch meal.

Next day Sayli was allowed by Sunny's mom from backyard door. Sayali should feel free and relaxed while spending some quality time with Sunny as he was her main intention. She lovingly warned Sayli not to leave without having anything and made her promise. Sayali agreed.  

Exams were near. Sayli even takes notes for Sunny while visiting his place and reading loudly for him to understand. Sunny's mom like this idea very much. She was very about two things at one time. Sunny was not missing his study and also his friend was here to recover him.  

Sometimes Sayli talk to sunny about the time they both spent together. She reminded him about a college picnic at karnala fort. Everyone closes down at the pinnacle feet. But Sunny was more curious about the cold water storage under the pinnacle he ever read somewhere before. The tinny narrow route was slippery and that was the early morning winter. So everyone closes down there except Sunny. He wanted to move further. He asked everyone to join him, but no one was ready. He ends up asking Sayli… she didn't wish to, but she agreed only for not disappointing Sunny. 

Both of them headed towards the pinnacle. Sunny covered himself with a shawl for freezning weather. Somewhere on a slippery track, Sayli losses her footing and about to fall down, but sunny quickly hold her hand as she screams for balance. Sunny kept her hand holding tight in his own hand and continued. Sunny's warm touch turned into a hot flow and spread in all over the veins of Sayli. She started feeling sunny even in cool weather. As if her heart is willing to come out and reach somewhere else.  

After some time they both reached into the water storage under the pinnacle. Looking little deep they found the clear and safe water storage. They both were amazed by ancient ideology for storage on hills. While talking to each other they realized that words are coming back as an echo sound. Mischievously Sayli started calling her own name for an echo sound. She didn't notice beehives on the ceiling. And all the bees disturbed by the vibrations of sound and turn in an attacking mode to protect their hives. Bees started buzzing around them.   

Sudden attack of bees made both of them restless. It was even difficult to run out of them because it was slippery road. Quickly Sunny drag Sayli in his arms and covered even her under the shawl. Both were quite for sometimes. The bees went off after a awhile to their hives. Sayli felt like she is there for a years and years, she didn't want to move from that place. She feels like she is in a dream that she is in Sunny's warm arms.    

Confirming that bees went off Sunny silently removed the shawl and hint Sayli to move down quickly. Both started moving down.

Bees were calm, but not Sayli. There was a hurricane moving inside Sayli with the moments she just spent with sunny.

Softly she turns to Sunny. Did he hear the memory I just told him? The question arose in her mind. But he was the same lying in a bed quietly. She stood up calmly and kissed sunny on forehead.

"I was wrong Sunny. I should have confessed to you that day that even I love you. I love you Sunny!" Sayli started crying with a sob. She felt so sad that it was she who is responsible for this condition of Sunny.

Few other friends also visited Sunny in between. But everyone was staying at the other corner of the city so sayli took all responsibility. She agreed on conveying Sunny's turns and moves to everyone. Everyone was happy with this conclusion.

Sayli was visiting Sunny daily. Obviously, she even came close to sunny's mom. Sunny's mom also started liking Sayli. She now started waiting for sayli.

It's been a week sayli was being there at Sunny's place. Sunny was recovering; everyone noticed that. So now it was completely Sayli, who can handle this task.

One day sayli came and noticed a birthday cake on a table. She realized that it Sunny's birthday.

She sat in front of Sunny and started talking to him.

You must don't remember this, but it was your birthday. I brought a gift for you from my savings. I was in the market for a whole day for your gift and I bunked college day before. I have been there on out katta without having anything for a whole day just to give you that. But all you guys went for a party day before and nobody was there at the college. I went home sadly. Cry whole night. I was so upset.

The next day I got that gift for you. You said "Sayli, did you cry last night missing me?"

Everyone said on that "She must be missing the party fun and cried."

I felt like screaming and tell everyone,

"Yes, I missed my love yesterday and so that cried a lot. Sunny I love you."

But I didn't dare say it loudly. Because I didn't know about you; even you never conveyed me anyhow. And of course, the economic and class difference between you and me always pulled me behind from being close to you.

But today we are unknown to each other even after knowing each other so well. It's like a motionless moment for both of us and we couldn't reach each other. But surely my feelings are reaching for yours. "You have to be normal for me. Sunny swears for my love." She managed herself somehow and went home after meeting sunny's mom.

Doctor visited sunny and confirm about his recovery after two days. He also mentioned that his condition is not so well, so there will be nothing against sunny's wished.

That day, Sunny was at in the home garden. Sayli was very happy and thought of talking to him. She went to him.

But sunny was the same; not answering to any of her questions.

I should have not behaved so badly with you that day, lastly she confessed. I know even if you belong to reach family you are not like the typical richer class. You are different. You never showed off your richness not even arrogance. You always respect everyone. You proposed me and it was yes on my lips; that was not so easy. But I purposely kept it in. I worried about your parent's reaction to it. You deserve someone better than me who will be match up your class. Actually, it's my honor to be proposed by you. I will not be able to describe my happiness in words.     

I want to lower down my gut feeling so I am expressing this to you. Anyways, you are out of the state of mind to understand this. But I'll be relaxed that at least I could express myself to you. And I will love you silently. May be I will never get a chance to express it again.

"What if my parents are ready?"

Sunny holds her hand once she finished talking and said,

it means Sunny could understand my feelings. He understood my confession that I love him. She amazed knowing all this. What should be the answer to this; she was confused. She remembered that doctor said that there will be nothing against his wish.

"Yes Sunny if your parents agreed I will consider it as my honor." She agreed on the note of not disturbing him anymore.

Sunny smiled sweetly.

It's been a long time that she is seeing Sunny smiling. She was happy about all the efforts she took for Sunny is working.

Doctor was reported that today, Sunny recognized Sayli on his evening round for Sunny to check him.

Sunny is back to normal. Doctor confirmed after regular checking. Doctor spoke to Sunny's mom and dad separately. He suggested that even sunny is all right now he must have someone around him always to take care of him. Have you decided anything for this?

Doctor and Sunny's dad both were friends together. Doctor himself insisted Sunny's dad to look out for any solution for it. He asked what exactly they are thinking about Sunny's marriage. I can suggest you that the girl has taken lots of efforts for sunny in his illness. Why don't you make that girl your daughter-in-law? Anyways, she is Sunny's friend. Good in nature as well in looking. We just can't deny efforts she took for sunny. And it's because of her that we can get sunny between us. Isn't it?  

 

Sunny's mom quickly agreed to doctor. There was no other option remained for his dad. He too agreed.

They both told sunny about the decision of his marriage to Sayli.

"I am not against you. Both of you could know my well-being more than me." Mom and dad both were happy and proud of their son.  

Sayli continued visiting Sunny at his place. They both were preparing for exams together. Exams got over and both scored well.

Sunny's mom and dad once visited Sayli's parents at their place. They got impressed even with her parents. They said we are here officially proposing your daughter as our daughter-in-law.  

But her parents put one condition. If that condition got approved only then we will get ready for marriage.

After this Sayli and Sunny's parents got shocked. They have never ever thought about this before.

"Any condition will be approved. Let us know" Sunny said himself.

Sayli should not stop her education. She must get a higher and higher education as we have already decided that.

"Is that the condition? We are more than ready for this" Sunny's dad laughed loudly.

"We will send them on a foreign trip after marriage; for honeymoon and even for higher education. Is that ok with you?" and everyone was laughing on this lighter note.  

Sayli was happy to feel that she will live her dream.

Then engagement got over as decided and immediately marriage.

They were taking everyone's blessing on a marriage day. Touching everyone's feet. Doctor came for the wishes. Both touches their feet.

Sunny went close to him whispering in his ear "Uncle, you made my plan successful."

Both started laughing and giggling at it.

Sayli and doctor's wife couldn't understand their reason for the laugh and looking at them with narrow eyebrows. Sunny concluded on this,

Otherwise Sayli I would have never realized your feelings about me and even mom, dad would have not known you so closely?"
