Rudravatar
Rudravatar
For the last couple of years, every one talks about weather changes, due to pollution, tree cutting, and whatnot all. Is going beyond my thought.
We are always happy when we do not know much and what bit knows is our own world! Happy in what we know..and enjoy our own life as selfish!
There is a scientist, who does research and gives forecasts, alerts about what will happen in the next few days, weeks, months years!
We laugh at them for wasting time. Yes. Even in news they show forecasts and alert us... When they predict for red alert high tide, rain. We just ignore and make jokes out of it. As predicted by them means no rain. Go out without carrying an umbrella.
Only a few follow on their predictions,
One day On the red alert day, I just went to the office, and even with the office teammate was discussing outside everybody is so scared of high alert. But see today I came without an umbrella, roads were empty, reached office within 20 Mins by my car, no traffic jam, etc... Laughing at my own jokes.
There was a common announcement was going on to be safe, do not leave the office till next announcement as in-office area waterlog, power cut off.
We are there, to help you out but support us and take care of yourself.
My office is modern, high rise buildings, underground parking area, lifts, good cafeteria. Big glass windows, the outside view was classic! In the rainy season near by hills was having natural waterfalls, green treen, colorful, actually our office is part of the hill, they cut the hill and constructed high raising buildings... Any way...
Today's situation is very different, as per the weather forecast in our area, heavy rain going on last 1 hrs, in our office building's underground parking area was underwater, even reception area 6-7 inch water on the floor!
Mobile Network was very weak.
Totally in mess.
On common announcement they were announcing cars, bikes floated and we are not in control.
Still, you all like a brave be seated on your seat. Give courage to each other, from the window when I was looking out. I saw my own car is floating on road. And it damaged as it hit on other cars... It was looking very scary, cars, bikes, trees were floating in rainwater.
Thank god we were safe on the 12th floor!
That whole night we were in the office, in the canteen whatever cooked we had it!
The next morning when the rain stopped everyone went out to see their own car, bikes, and belongings to search in that muddy road, my car was totally damaged. Only due to the number plate on it was I could be able to trace it back.
Good that there was no human loss!
The first time I saw it, felt the Rudravatar Of Rain.
Oh. Why I have not listened to those red, high alert announcements when I started from home to office!!
Now I started listening to announcements regarding rain. Take necessary precautions.
