Random Thoughts

 

Here are some random thoughts that bother not only me but many of us, I guess.

It is said that the “atma” is same whether it be an insect or human being. But there is an ongoing process of evolution of “atma.” highly evolved souls are born as humans. Our gurus and saints are highly evolved souls that are getting closer to “mukti.” We know that world human population is increasing phenomenally, where as the number of lower life, like insects , birds and some of the larger animals are reducing or some are extinct. I wonder if this mean that they have all evolved into human beings?

It is said that people with tough and strong minds are chosen to go through the difficult times because they can endure. If life is a test for our endurance why do tougher ones get battered and others get to enjoy? Very confusing.

It is said that the consequences of good Karma and bad Karma are borne by human being in this life time itself. When we cannot explain why some very fine human beings go through some real tough times, we say that it could be due to bad Karma accumulated in previous life. Similarly abundance of good fortune unexplainable by any means is attributed to Good Karma from previous birth. Again Contradiction. 

I know this is no laughing matter and I am not joking either.

Is life about finding answers to these questions? I don’t know either.

 But these thoughts keep floating in my mind.
