Opportunity In Adversity

As I glanced out of my window to view the beauty of nature after a heavy shower of rain, all I could see was the neighborhood aunty all stressed up about the clogged water outside her house. Further analyzing the situation was her husband who while reading the newspaper almost the tenth time, cursed the government for not taking apt measures to solve the problem. 

And, there I saw a bunch of kids full of exuberance, fully drenched in water, all set to float boats while they planned to have a race in the clogged water. Real joys of life come for free. When nature has so much to offer then why do we seek happiness in materialistic things? Happiness lies is in simple pleasures. 

Wonder why only children have the ability to turn adversity into an opportunity. It's all about the attitude towards life that makes the difference!
