One Month Anniversary!

We all have come across posts on social media, especially Facebook, talking about one month anniversary of couples (many a times, two, three..).

I always smile, seeing couples merry joying at their weekly, monthly anniversaries.

I recall the last post I read about such an anniversary, with hashtags:

#luvu #wifeyandme #mylady #bestiesforever #loveallaround

Ok, so people are so much in love. They celebrate, go out on a date, gift each other, and post it.

Recently I had my first month anniversary. It went on like this.

Since it was Saturday, we got up late as on every weekend. But this day was different. I had a cup of tea in bed, made my him, followed by chole cooked by him at lunchtime. Playing Uno all through the afternoon, long talks, again a session of tea and snacks in the evening and dozing off watching a movie at night.

We planned for a dinner out. But chole and the 'us' time at home seemed over the top treat.

For me, it was the perfect monthly anniversary.

-Firstly, I wasn't expecting morning tea in bed from him.

-Secondly, 'chole chawal' was mouth-watering.

-Third, we talked, argued as we do on other days. However, every time we had a statement to make, it was followed by a teasing line, "today is our anniversary and we are still arguing", landing us into endless giggles.

I didn't want to loose on even single minute of the talk and laughs that day.

At the end of the day, I opened my facebook account to post about my first month anni', and I had all the wonderful words and hashtags to write.I was about to post, when I heard his loud call from balcony. I jumped from my place and rushed.

As I reached there, he was standing on the grill side facing towards me. I reached to him and he turned and said, see up in the sky.

The moon was sparkling bright. And my thoughts ran to the time when I just couldn't stand seeing moon every night and my husband was never so much into watching the moon.

We talked about stars for a while and how nowadays their visibility is fewer.

Later in the bed, I closed the facebook page where I was about to type and turned towards my sleepy husband to whisper all the words and hashtags to him.
