'Heart Attack', I blurted.

'But the ECG reports are right as rain. You're fit and fine, Akansha.', my doctor assured me.

'Does this machine measure the quantum of emotional pressure the heart experiences when it gets wrecked and abandoned? Is it able to define emotional trauma?', I questioned lowly.

'No', he replied, astonished, unable to believe what I just said.

'Then it's useless.', I said and left the doctor's cabin that had no medicine for my broken heart.

No physical injury doesn’t mean that the person is all right. Sometimes, it’s all in the heart and mind. But, as we can’t see the dents on the same, we overlook the mental battles faced by a person. We ignore the blockages in the heart until the person suffers a heart attack.

But, what do we do?

A broken heart is a cliché. If I go and tell you my heart is broken, I’m in pain, then all you hear is, 'You’re just overthinking.'

The question here is, 'Is broken heart a cliché?'

A broken heart is a synonym for the fears, insecurities, and inferiority that we nurture when fate brings storms and wrecks our hearts. A piece of invisible baggage gets stamped on the front page of life and overshadows every new chapter we try to open. We feel neglected, unheard, and lost. In a world of seven billion people or maybe just inside the four walls of your house, darkness consumes you.

You’re lost and lonely. With one toss on love, your tears flow endlessly, and sometimes all you want is to move on. But, how do we move on? The endless baggage we carry, how do we get rid of it?The spirits are slumped down with the endless baggage of tangled emotions. The key to our hearts is lost, and the quest of finding love is no more on the list.

Akansha and Vivaan are two souls, carrying this invisible baggage of life. They’re drained and exhausted. Their spirits are shattered.

Will, they ever find a key to their broken hearts?

Or will they slump down on the pitch of life?
