She closed the windows to avoid the noise of firecrackers from outside. A pure soul, indeed a Muslimah was indulged in offering her prayers to the almighty - "Allah”.

As soon as her 'names' were completed, she opened the window to cherish the view of this festival day - Diwali. Children on the streets were exploding the crackers, the girl in her neighborhood was decorating her house with 'divas' and 'Rangoli'. Suddenly her doorbell ringed, she asked her little brother to open the door, after a few seconds when the doorbell ringed again, she shouted -" coming, just a minute”. The moment she opened the door, a cool breeze of air made her hair sway on her face. A voice with excitement came - "Happy Diwali Didi”, I've brought some sweets and Diwali gifts for you and your family. "OH!!, Very happy Diwali sweetie" - she replied gently. Before she could ask about the handsome and gentle person standing beside her, sweetie introduced the guy as her cousin brother who has come to their house for completing his studies at the nearby university. As soon as she rolled her eyes to the guy, she found the guy already gazing at her in the complete absence of mind. Undoubtedly it was love at first sight. She asked them to come in, but sweetie denied in hurry. Days passed away but that incomplete meeting at the door has occupied a special place in the hearts of both. Both were looking for just a single chance to see each other again. Fortunately, the biggest festival of Muslims that is -"Eid", was on its way. She prayed during the entire Ramadan to see that guy again just for once. As we know Allah listens to everyone’s prayers. Finally, the most awaited Eid of both of their lives was there. Finishing the rituals, she took a bowl of "kheer" and ran to her neighbor. She ringed the bell and as Allah listens to everyone, the guy was the one who opened the door. This time the guy was the one who wished her - " Eid Mubarak”. She replied in a low tone with blush and shyness on her face. Without uttering a single word, she handled the bowl to him and walked back. Again, they waited for months and now Holi was there, thanks to these festivals through which they were at least getting a glance at each other's face timely. Time was swiping away with many festivals coming in between giving them chances to meet. Slowly they started conversating and finally on Diwali they expressed their feelings. They both were in love but wait, how could this society accept the love of a Hindu boy and a Muslimah. But when there are two pure souls trying to be one, god also showers his blessings upon them. They confessed about this relationship to their parents. And unbelievably both families accepted the relation. A year later, their wedding was performed with full joy and love. Now they don't need festivals to be happy anymore.
