Why will I tell you a fib? Your fairness and pulchritude had ignited in me the passion to hanker after you to proffer love. Yes, I had done so many things to win your attention. Whenever, I had received opportunity to showcase my talent, I had tried to deliver my best. But my infatuation had started to mushroom inside my heart. I had really fallen in love with your unexpressed innocence and trueness towards life. Your seriousness towards life, your veiled story that I had come to know from reliable source had really carved a special niche in my heart. I had loved the fatherless girl in you who was studying hard to earn good job to support her family. I had loved those desirable eyes that were with the dreams of doing something special. Yes, I had come from a rich family, with no wanting, I had no special dream. But time had made you my dream and I had wanted you in my life.

In the final year of engineering, when the campus of a software company had come and you had appeared to fulfil your initial dream, I had wished you best of luck with a smiling face and you had conveyed me the same. Final selection list brought smiles on my face, as I had witnessed your name and I had dialed one number to say, thank you very much, dad, for selecting your daughter-in-law for your company.

From behind you had come listening to everything without my knowledge. Touching my shoulder, you had asked with teary eyes, 'Why did you break my dream, why did you mingle my happiness into dust, why did you waste my opportunity to prove my mettle to the world'? I had only answered, 'you are meritorious, you deserve more than this, I have done this only for my father's daughter-in-law whom I love very much and always want to see in front of my eyes'.

With fluent tears, you had locked me in my arms to whisper those magic words which I had always dreamt of listening from you.

Yes, Today you are my better half, you are my life and most importantly, you are the daughter-in-law of a father who holds the blame of nepotism.
